xThe Domus TRAK 3-circuit mini straight live joiner connects two lengths of track end to end, in line, carrying all three circuits through. 30 × 80 × 40 mm, 240 V, IP20, in black or white.
✅ "Mini" means it is a shorter joiner — 80 mm long against the standard part. ⚠ What no source states is what else differs, so the honest answer is that the length is the difference we can evidence.
Why a shorter joiner is worth having: the joiner interrupts the track, and anywhere it sits is a stretch where no fitting can be clipped in. On a run where a junction falls close to where you want a light — over the end of an island, at a corner of a display — a shorter joiner gives back usable track.

- "Live" means all three circuits pass through it. Everything downstream of this joiner draws its power through it.
- ⛔ That makes its ampere rating as consequential as the feed's — a run fed adequately at one end can still be limited by a joiner in the middle.
- ⚠ No ampere rating appears in any source we hold, for this part or for the other six TRAK components in this catalogue. Domus's own prose calls the system “capable of high power loads” and gives no figure.
- ⚠ The datasheet attached is the track's, and its parts list does not contain this joiner.

Where a straight joiner is and is not the answer

- ⛔ Not for a corner. A 90° turn needs an angled joiner.
- ⛔ Not for feeding power in. A joiner connects track to track; a live end or a centre feed brings the supply in. ⚠ If your join is also where the cable arrives, the centre feed live joiner does both in one part.
- ⚠ Plan the join positions with the fitting positions, not separately. That is the whole reason a mini joiner exists.

- Track lengths — 1 m surface-mount and other sizes.
- A feed — a live end in the correct hand, or a centre feed live joiner.
- Joiners at every junction — this mini straight, a standard straight, or an angled one.
- Dead ends at every terminating end.

Three circuits through the join
- All three circuits carry through, so a fitting on the far side of a join can be set to any of the three exactly as one before it can.
- ⚠ The conductor order has to stay consistent across the join — which is automatic if the track is oriented the same way, and is the same consideration that decides whether a feed is left or right handed.
- ✅ Fittings can still be moved freely along the run after installation, on either side of the join.

Questions
What does "mini" mean here?
That it is a shorter joiner — 80 mm long — and that is the difference we can evidence, because no source states what else differs from the standard straight joiner. The reason a shorter one is worth having is practical: a joiner interrupts the track, and wherever it sits no fitting can be clipped in. Where a junction falls close to a wanted light position, a shorter joiner gives back usable track.
Can I use it to turn a corner?
No — this joins two lengths in line, on the same plane. A 90° turn needs an angled joiner. Tell us the shape of the run and we will list the right junction parts rather than have you discover it with the track already up.
Does it bring power into the track?
No. A joiner connects track to track; power comes in through a live end or a centre feed. If your join is also the point where the supply cable arrives, the centre feed live joiner does both jobs in one part — which is often the tidier answer when replacing an existing central ceiling point with a track run.
How much load can pass through it?

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
