The Domus TRAK 3-circuit mini straight live joiner connects two lengths of track end to end, in line, carrying all three circuits through. 30 × 80 × 40 mm, 240 V, IP20, in black or white.
✅ "Mini" means it is a shorter joiner — 80 mm long against the standard part. ⚠ What no source states is what else differs, so the honest answer is that the length is the difference we can evidence.
Why a shorter joiner is worth having: the joiner interrupts the track, and anywhere it sits is a stretch where no fitting can be clipped in. On a run where a junction falls close to where you want a light — over the end of an island, at a corner of a display — a shorter joiner gives back usable track.
Tell us the run and where the joins fall and we will say whether the mini or the standard joiner suits, and confirm the difference with Domus.
3-circuit mini straight live joiner. 30 × 80 × 40 mm, 240 V AC, IP20. Black (22162) or white (22163). Connects two lengths of track end to end in line, carrying all three circuits through. Part of the modular TRAK 3-circuit system.
⛔ Current rating, maximum load and conductor configuration are not recorded in any source we hold, and the datasheet attached is the track's, not this joiner's. ⚠ What distinguishes the "mini" from the standard straight joiner beyond its length is not stated in any source. Tell us the run, where the joins fall, and what is hanging on each side, and we will confirm both the right joiner and the rating with Domus. Warranty 3 years.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.
That it is a shorter joiner — 80 mm long — and that is the difference we can evidence, because no source states what else differs from the standard straight joiner. The reason a shorter one is worth having is practical: a joiner interrupts the track, and wherever it sits no fitting can be clipped in. Where a junction falls close to a wanted light position, a shorter joiner gives back usable track.
No — this joins two lengths in line, on the same plane. A 90° turn needs an angled joiner. Tell us the shape of the run and we will list the right junction parts rather than have you discover it with the track already up.
No. A joiner connects track to track; power comes in through a live end or a centre feed. If your join is also the point where the supply cable arrives, the centre feed live joiner does both jobs in one part — which is often the tidier answer when replacing an existing central ceiling point with a track run.
Not recorded in any source we hold, and it matters here as much as at the feed: "live" means all three circuits pass through, so everything downstream draws its power through this joiner. A run fed adequately at one end can still be limited by a joiner in the middle. Tell us what is hanging on each side and we will get the rating from Domus.
Yes — all three circuits carry through, so a fitting on the far side can be set to any of them exactly as one before it can, and fittings can still be moved freely along the run. What has to stay consistent is the conductor order across the join, which is automatic if the track is oriented the same way.
Track lengths, a feed in the correct hand, joiners at every junction, and dead ends at every terminating end. A run that is one joiner short stops on the day, so tell us the total length and shape and we will list every piece.
No. Like the rest of the TRAK system it is IP20, indoor dry areas only — track carries exposed conductors by design.
