The Domus TRAK 3-circuit live right end is the component that brings mains power into a track run at its right-hand end. 40 × 110 × 40 mm, 240 V, IP20, in black or white.

⛔ There is a left-hand version as well, and they are not interchangeable. Both are 40 × 110 × 40 mm and nothing on either record explains which you need.

Here is what decides it. A 3-circuit track carries three live conductors in a fixed order along its length. The feed has to enter at the end where your supply cable arrives and present those three conductors the right way round, so that the fitting you set to “circuit 1” is on the circuit your electrician wired as 1.

Get it wrong and the track still works — but your three switches control the wrong groups of lights, which is discovered at fit-off and fixed by swapping the feed.

Tell us which end of the run the cable comes in at, and which way the track faces, and we will confirm left or right before you order. ✅ It is a two-minute question and a wasted trip otherwise.

⛔ The current rating is not recorded, and here it governs the run
  • A live end is where power enters the track. Everything hanging on the run draws through this one part, so its ampere rating is the ceiling on the whole layout regardless of what the track itself is rated for.
  • ⚠ No ampere rating appears in any source we hold for this component or for any of the other TRAK parts — seven of them now. Domus's own description calls the system “capable of high power loads” and states no figure.
  • ⚠ The datasheet attached to this product is the track's, not this component's — its parts list contains the track lengths and not this part.
  • Tell us the fittings you intend to hang and the total run length and we will get the rating from Domus before you commit to a layout.
End feed or centre feed
  • An end feed (this) carries the entire load through the first metre of track. ✅ Simple, and right for a short run or where the supply is already at one end.
  • A centre feed splits the load two ways, which roughly doubles the practical run length for the same feed. Right for a long run, or where the existing ceiling point is in the middle of the room.
  • ✅ Tell us the run length and where the cable comes in and we will say which is sensible.
What else a run needs
  • Track lengths — 1 m surface-mount and other sizes.
  • A live end (this, or the left-hand version) or a centre feed.
  • A dead end to close the far end of the run.
  • Joiners — straight, mini straight, or angled — at every junction.
  • ⚠ A track run is never just track. Any one part missing stops the job on the day. Tell us the total length and shape and we will list every piece.
What three circuits gives you
  • Three separately switched circuits share one physical track, and each fitting is set to one of the three when it is clicked in.
  • ✅ One run, three lighting scenes — in retail: window, general, feature. Over a kitchen island: task, pendants, accent.
  • ⚠ Three circuits means three switched supplies arriving at this end. That is more cable and more switching than a single-circuit track, and it has to be planned at rough-in rather than fit-off. Tell your electrician before the ceiling closes.

Can it go outdoors or in a bathroom?

No. It is IP20, indoor dry areas only. Track carries exposed conductors by design, so this is not a rating to work around.

What is the difference between this and a joiner?

This brings mains power into the track; a joiner connects two lengths to each other. A run typically needs one feed, joiners at each junction, and a dead end to close it. If your feed is at a junction rather than at an end, the centre feed live joiner does both jobs in one part.

Warranties

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.

Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.

Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.

Damaged or Missing Items

Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.

If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.

Returns

Change of Mind Returns

  • Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
  • The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.

Cancellations

Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
