The Domus TRAK 3-circuit live left end is the component that brings mains power into a track run at its left-hand end. 40 × 110 × 40 mm, 240 V, IP20, in black or white.
⛔ This is one of a pair, and the two are not interchangeable. The right-hand version has identical recorded dimensions and identical recorded specifications — the only thing that distinguishes them on our catalogue is the word in the title.
What actually decides it: a 3-circuit track carries three live conductors in a fixed order along its length. The feed must enter at the end where your supply cable arrives and present those conductors the right way round, so that the fitting you set to “circuit 1” is on the circuit your electrician wired as 1.
⚠ Getting it wrong does not break anything. The track works; your three switches simply control the wrong groups of lights. It is found at fit-off and fixed by swapping the feed — which is a second trip.
Tell us which end the supply arrives at and which way the track faces, and we will confirm the hand before you order.
3-circuit live end feed, left hand. 40 × 110 × 40 mm, 240 V AC, IP20. Black (22158) or white (22159). Brings mains supply into a track run at its left-hand end. Part of the modular TRAK 3-circuit system.
⛔ Current rating, maximum load, conductor configuration and material are not recorded in any source we hold, and the datasheet attached is the track's, not this component's. ⚠ A right-hand version exists with identical recorded specifications; only the title distinguishes them. Tell us which end the supply arrives at, which way the track faces, and what you are hanging, and we will confirm both the hand and the rating with Domus before you order. Warranty 3 years.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.
Ask us, and give us two things: which end of the run your supply cable arrives at, and which way the track faces. A 3-circuit track carries three live conductors in a fixed order, and the feed has to present them the right way round so that the fitting you set to "circuit 1" is on the circuit your electrician wired as 1. The two components have identical recorded dimensions and specifications — only the title distinguishes them on our catalogue.
Nothing breaks. The track works and the lights come on — but your three switches control the wrong groups of fittings. It is found at fit-off and fixed by swapping the feed, which means a second trip and a second part. That is why it is worth two minutes beforehand.
Not answerable from any source we hold. Everything on the run draws through this feed, so its ampere rating is the ceiling on the whole layout — not the track's rating, and not the sum of what you would like to hang. No figure exists for this or any of the other six TRAK components in this catalogue. Tell us what you are hanging and how long the run is, and we will get it from Domus before the layout is fixed.
From an end where the supply already arrives there and the run is short. From the centre where the run is long — a centre feed halves the distance current travels and roughly doubles the practical run length for the same feed. It is also often the better choice when you are replacing an existing central pendant point with a track run.
Track lengths, a feed, a dead end to close the far end, and joiners at every junction. A track run is never just track and any one part missing stops the job. Tell us the total length and shape and we will list every piece before it ships.
Yes, and that is one of the better reasons to use 3-circuit track. Once the track is live, setting a fitting to a different circuit is a hand job — no electrician, no patching, no new holes. What has to be planned in advance is the cabling: three switched supplies have to arrive at this feed, and that is a rough-in decision.
No. It is IP20, indoor dry areas only. Track carries exposed conductors by design, so this is not a rating to work around.
