A suggestion, not a specification. A calculator can get it wrong — have a licensed electrician confirm the driver, the total load and the wiring before you order.
The Domus THOR-PRO-32 Lens is a drop-in optical accessory for the 32 W THOR-PRO head — available as a honeycomb louvre or in purple, red, blue, green or yellow.
⭐ A coloured lens absorbs every wavelength except the one it passes; it does not convert white light to colour. ⭐⭐ ON A 32 W HEAD THAT MAKES THE DEEP COLOURS ACTUALLY VIABLE — there is enough light that a red or blue filter still produces a usable effect — ⚠ but you are running the family's largest head to produce a modest output. ⭐ For anything permanent, a coloured LED source produces its colour at the source and is far more efficient. ⭐ A lens is for a temporary effect on fittings already installed: a seasonal display, an event, a promotional period. ⭐ Green and yellow lose least; red and blue lose most.
⛔ No datasheet, no transmission figures, no output loss for the honeycomb or any colour, no material, and no cut-off angle. ⭐⭐ THE CUT-OFF ANGLE IS THE HONEYCOMB'S DEFINING SPECIFICATION — ⭐ it is the angle beyond which the source is no longer visible, and on a 32 W head mounted at 6 metres it is the number that decides whether the louvre solves the problem. ⛔ The 32 W head also publishes no lumen figures anywhere, so neither the starting output nor the loss can be stated. ⭐ WE HAVE NOT ESTIMATED EITHER. ⭐ Tell us the mounting height, the viewing positions and the throw, and we will get both from Domus before you order.

Drop-in optical accessory for THOR-PRO-32 heads. Honeycomb anti-glare louvre, or purple, red, blue, green or yellow lens. ⛔ ITS RECORD PUBLISHES A VOLTAGE AND A DC SUPPLY ON A PIECE OF GLASS — two of the ten optical accessories in this catalogue publish a voltage and all ten publish some electrical field, the same template default found on brackets, plates and panel frames. ⭐⭐ AT 32 W THE HONEYCOMB IS CLOSE TO MANDATORY IN AN OCCUPIED SPACE: the brightest head in the family, usually mounted high and aimed down a long sightline, is precisely the arrangement that puts a very bright source in somebody's eye-line — and a narrow reflector makes the direct view harsher, not softer. ⭐ PLAN A BLACK BAFFLE AND A HONEYCOMB TOGETHER FROM THE OUTSET.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.
It should not. Its record publishes voltage 24V and ac_dc DC on a passive optical accessory — a lens has a diameter, a material and a transmission. Across the ten optical accessories in this catalogue, all ten publish at least one electrical field and two publish a voltage; this is one of the two. It is the same template default found on brackets, mounting plates, rod kits and panel frames.
On a page a person reads, not much. In a filter it does — someone looking for 24V components would be shown a piece of glass. We have not repeated those fields here.
Close to mandatory in an occupied space. The 32W head is the brightest in the family and is usually mounted high and aimed down a long sightline, which is precisely the arrangement that puts a very bright source in somebody's eye-line from somewhere in the room.
No — it makes it worse. Concentrating the beam also concentrates the source, so the 15 and 24 degree optics that suit a 32W head are exactly the ones that create the harshest direct view. Plan a black baffle and a honeycomb together from the outset rather than as a remedy after complaints.
More so than on the smaller ones. There is enough light that a red or blue filter still produces a usable effect, where a 15W head filtered to deep red might be too dim. But you are running the family's largest head to produce a modest output — for anything permanent, a coloured LED source produces its colour at the source and is far more efficient. A lens is for a temporary effect on fittings already installed.
The cut-off angle — the angle beyond which the source is no longer visible. On a 32W head mounted at 6 metres it is the number that decides whether the louvre solves the problem, and it is not published anywhere.
No, and we have not estimated it. No transmission figures are published for the honeycomb or any colour, and the 32W head publishes no lumen figures anywhere either — so neither the starting output nor the loss can be stated. Tell us the mounting height, the viewing positions and the throw and we will get both from Domus before you order.
