The Domus THOR-PRO-15 track head is the same 15 W light on a 3-circuit track adaptor — CRI ≥90, 36° beam standard, switchable 3000/4000/5000 K, in white or black.
⭐ On a track run the heads are seen against the ceiling from every angle, and there are often many of them. ⭐ Black track and black heads read as deliberate equipment and visually recede against a dark or exposed-services ceiling; white reads as lighter and less industrial and suits a plastered white ceiling. ⭐ Match the head to the track, not to the ceiling — ⭐ a white head on black track draws the eye to every fitting. ⭐ On this 15 W model the output penalty for black is negligible, so the choice really is aesthetic.

3-circuit track head. 15 W at 240 V AC. White 1,200/1,300/1,250 lm; black 1,150/1,300/1,250 lm. 3000/4000/5000 K switchable. CRI ≥90. Beam 15°, 24°, 36°, 45° or 60° (36° standard). 62 mm cover, 170 mm CNC aluminium. Dimmable, flicker-free. 50,000 hrs. ⭐⭐ THE POINT OF TRACK IS THAT THE LAYOUT IS NOT DECIDED AT FITOUT. Shops rearrange — seasonally, for promotions, when a range changes — and a lighting layout fixed to the original shelving is wrong within a year. ⭐ THE BEAM ANGLE SHAPES THE RESULT, AND IT IS CHANGEABLE: the head ships with a 36° reflector and reflectors are sold separately at 15°, 24°, 45° and 60°, so position, aim AND optic can all be altered after installation. ⭐ ORDER HEADS PLUS A FEW SPARE REFLECTORS rather than a mix of differently-specified heads.

Because the layout is not decided at fitout. Shops rearrange — seasonally, for promotions, when a range changes — and a lighting layout fixed to the original shelving is wrong within a year. Track means the lighting follows the merchandising instead of constraining it. It also changes what a fitout costs to change: moving a recessed downlight means a new hole and a patched ceiling, where moving a track head takes seconds and no trades.
Three independently switchable circuits in one extrusion, with each head set to one of them at installation. So one run can do three things at different times: the heads that stay on during trading, feature and window lighting switched separately for after hours, and cleaning or stocking light on only when needed. In a shop that trades twelve hours and is lit sixteen, that split saves real energy.
It has to be wired and switched for at fitout. A 3-circuit track fed from a single switch is an expensive single-circuit track — you have paid for the capability and cannot use it. Tell us how you want the space controlled and we will confirm the switching before the track is ordered.
The head ships with 36 degrees, and you can change it later — reflectors are sold separately at 15, 24, 45 and 60 degrees. As a starting point: 15 degrees for a single object, 24 to 36 for a shelf bay or counter, 45 to 60 for general lighting. From a 3m ceiling to a 1m surface, 36 degrees lights about 1.3m across and 60 about 2.3m.
Yes, usually — and buy a few spare reflectors instead. Because the optic swaps, ordering differently-specified heads is paying twice for something a reflector solves. A handful of 24 degree reflectors kept on site lets the shop re-optic a feature position whenever the display changes.
Barely — about 1.4% on this 15W model, so the choice is genuinely aesthetic. Do not carry that assumption to the 23W version though: it loses 13.9%.
Match the head to the track, not to the ceiling. A white head on black track draws the eye to every fitting. Black track and black heads read as deliberate equipment and recede against a dark or exposed-services ceiling; white suits a plastered white ceiling. On this model the output penalty for black is negligible, so it really is an aesthetic decision.
