The Domus STRAP-FL is a floor lamp — conical shade held by a leather strap, 1 × E27, 240 V, 1,520 mm tall, 220 mm wide, in matt black or matt white.
⭐ The conical shade is open top and bottom, so the lamp is visible from a seated position. ⭐ An opal or frosted E27 diffuses before the light leaves the shade and is the right answer beside a chair. ⚠ A clear or filament lamp is seen directly — handsome, and glary exactly where someone is sitting. ⭐ The lamp is not included, so this is your decision; tell us the position and we will suggest one.
⭐ Pendant, table lamp, floor lamp and wall bracket, all sharing the conical shade and leather strap. ⭐⭐ USING TWO OR THREE OF THEM IN ONE SPACE IS WHAT THE RANGE IS FOR — ⭐ the same form at three scales and three heights reads as designed rather than assembled. ⭐ A floor lamp beside a chair with the matching pendant over the dining table is the most common and most effective pairing.
⭐ Both painted rather than raw, so they hold their appearance. ⭐ Black reads as a deliberate object and anchors a corner; white recedes almost completely against a light wall, which suits a room that already has enough going on. ⭐ The leather strap is warm against timber and plaster and slightly at odds with high-gloss or very minimal joinery.

Floor lamp, conical shade with leather strap. 1 × E27, lamp not included. 1,520 mm high, 220 mm wide. 220–240 V. IP20. Matt black or matt white. 1-year warranty. ⛔⛔ TWO DATASHEETS ARE ATTACHED TO THIS PRODUCT AND THEY DISAGREE WITH EACH OTHER — one says "25W LED Max" and the other "60W Max". That is a different fault from a sheet belonging to the wrong product: both documents are attached to this item, so the disagreement is internal. THE PRODUCT'S OWN RECORD SAYS 25 W AND SO DOES EVERY OTHER STRAP PRODUCT, so we published 25 W. ⭐ In practice the ceiling is academic — an LED matching a 60 W incandescent draws about 8 W.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.
25W, as we have published it. Two datasheets are attached to this product and they disagree with each other — one says "25W LED Max" and the other "60W Max". The product's own record says 25W, and so does every other member of the STRAP family: the pendant and table lamp both read 25W on their sheets and 25W on their records. Two independent sources against one.
Yes. Elsewhere in this catalogue we have found sheets that belong to a different product. Here both documents are attached to this item, so the disagreement is internal rather than a mix-up. It is a smaller fault and an easier one to fix.
Rarely. An E27 LED giving as much light as an old 60W incandescent draws about 8 watts, so nothing you would sensibly fit comes near 25. The reason to record it correctly is the specification rather than the lamp.
Yes. The shade sits at roughly standing eye level and well above a seated one, so the light comes over the shoulder rather than into the face — which is exactly what a reading position wants.
Better than most. At 220mm wide it takes almost no floor, so it fits between a sofa arm and a wall, or in the corner behind a chair, where a wider drum-shade lamp would not. Do put it where furniture braces it though — a narrow base on a tall lamp is a stability question in a house with children or dogs.
No, and it is not meant to. A conical shade throws most of its light down and a little up, so it lights a chair and a patch of ceiling. That is a feature in a living room with other light and a limitation as a room's only lamp.
An opal or frosted E27. The conical shade is open top and bottom so the lamp is visible from a seated position — a clear or filament lamp is handsome and glary exactly where someone is sitting. The lamp is not included, so tell us the position and we will suggest one.
