The Domus PLEX-ULTRA IP67 is a 24 V COB LED strip — 10 W per metre, 560 LEDs per metre, CRI ≥90, IP67, 50 m pack, at 650 / 669 / 688 lm per metre.

⭐ 650 / 669 / 688 lm per metre against the IP54 version's 770 / 790 / 810. ⭐⭐ Across the programme we have measured that penalty on 23 pairs in four product families — COB and SMD, whites and saturated colours — mean 15.4% with very little spread. ⭐ It is the silicon absorbing light. ⭐ Over fifty metres it is the difference between about 40,000 lumens and about 34,000. ⭐ Take IP67 where water arrives with force; take IP54 and keep the 15% where it does not.
⭐ Two drivers of about 270 W each. ⚠ On a wet-area job the dry, ventilated, accessible driver location is usually harder to find than the strip position — ⭐ so needing two rather than five is worth more here than on a dry run. ⭐ 500 W wants its own circuit.
⭐ The sheet requires an aluminium heat sink in capitals and voids the warranty without it. ⭐ On the IP67 version the coating is also a thermal blanket, so the aluminium is the only path heat has out — ⭐ the requirement is least marginal here. ⚠ And if any of the run is external, the profile has to survive UV, thermal cycling and possibly salt. ⛔ None of the catalogue's 47 profiles states its outdoor suitability.

COB LED strip, IP67 silicon coated, 50 m pack. 10 W per metre at 24 V DC, 500 W total, ≈34,000 lm. 560 LEDs per metre, dotless. CRI ≥90. 180° beam. 25 mm cutting increment. Continuous run 13 m one-end, 26 m two-end. Aluminium heat sink mandatory. 3-year warranty. ⭐⭐ IF THE STRIP WILL BE SEEN, THIS IS THE BEST LONG SEALED RUN AVAILABLE. Fifty metres is two runs, two drivers and FIVE openings in the coating — matching the SMD strip's counts while staying dotless, and beating sealed PLEX-COB by twenty-four openings. Every opening matters because no connector in the range is rated above IP20, so each has to end up somewhere dry: five is a solvable layout, twenty-nine is not.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.
Because it is the only product that combines a dotless line with a long sealed run. Fifty metres is two runs, two drivers and five openings in the coating — matching PLEX-SMD-9's counts while staying dotless, and beating sealed PLEX-COB by twenty-four openings.
Because none of the range's connectors is rated above IP20, so every opening in the silicon coating has to end up somewhere dry. Five is a solvable layout problem; twenty-nine is a design constraint that shapes the whole job.
About 15% — 650/669/688 lumens per metre here against the IP54 version's 770/790/810. Across the programme we have measured that penalty on 23 pairs in four product families, spanning COB and SMD chips and both whites and saturated colours, with a mean of 15.4%. Over fifty metres it is the difference between about 40,000 lumens and about 34,000.
Where water does not arrive with force, yes — IP54 covers indoor wet areas including bathrooms and gives you the 15% back. Take IP67 for hosing, standing water and genuinely exposed positions.
Two of about 270W each, and 500 watts total wants its own circuit. On a wet-area job the dry, ventilated, accessible driver location is usually harder to find than the strip position — so needing two rather than five is worth more here than on a dry run.
Fifty metres of it, mandatory. On the IP67 version the coating is also a thermal blanket, so the aluminium is the only path heat has out and the requirement is least marginal here. If any of the run is external, the profile also has to survive UV, thermal cycling and possibly salt — and none of the catalogue's 47 profiles states its outdoor suitability.
Yes. Fifty metres is a single production run so both lengths come from the same batch, and on a dotless strip the join between two runs is already nearly invisible. Matching batches makes it entirely so.
