A suggestion, not a specification. A calculator can get it wrong — have a licensed electrician confirm the driver, the total load and the wiring before you order.
The Domus PLEX-ULTRA IP67 is a 24 V COB LED strip — 10 W per metre, 560 LEDs per metre, CRI ≥90, IP67, 1 m, at 650 / 669 / 688 lm per metre.
| 26 m of dotless, sealed strip | Runs | ⭐ Cuts | Drivers |
|---|---|---|---|
| ⭐ PLEX-ULTRA, two-end feed | ⭐ 1 | ⭐ 0 | ⭐ 1 |
| PLEX-COB IP67, two-end feed | ⚠ 3 | ⚠ 2 | 3 |
⭐ This strip gives 650 / 669 / 688 lm per metre where its IP54 twin gives 770 / 790 / 810 — ⭐ a loss of 15.6, 15.3 and 15.1%. ⭐⭐ We have now measured that penalty across 23 pairs in four product families, spanning COB and SMD chips and both whites and saturated colours. ⭐ The mean is 15.4% with very little spread. ⭐ It is a property of the silicon coating itself, not of any one product — ⛔ and nothing in the catalogue mentions it. ⭐ So do not take IP67 for a bathroom: IP54 already covers indoor wet areas and gives you the 15% back.
⭐ The sheet requires it in capitals and voids the warranty without it. ⭐ On the IP67 version the silicon coating is also a thermal blanket, ⭐ so the aluminium is the only path heat has out. ⭐ A 13 m run needs 13 m of profile.

COB LED strip, IP67 silicon coated, 1 m. 10 W per metre at 24 V DC. 650 lm at 3000 K, 669 at 4000 K, 688 at 5000 K. 560 LEDs per metre, dotless. CRI ≥90. 180° beam. 25 mm cutting increment. Continuous run 13 m one-end, 26 m two-end. Aluminium heat sink mandatory. 3-year warranty. ⭐⭐ DOTLESS, WATERPROOF AND 13 METRES — no other product here does all three. On IP67 that longer run is worth more than it looks, because every intermediate cut breaks the silicon coating: a 26 m two-end run of this is ONE run with ZERO cuts where sealed PLEX-COB would be three runs with two. ⛔ ITS OWN SHEET CONTRADICTS ITSELF ON COLOUR — the cct field says 3000/4000/5000 K while the lumen table lists 2700 K at 550 lm/m. We have published only what the variants can actually supply.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.
It is dotless, waterproof and runs 13 metres — no other product in the range does all three. Every other dotless strip stops at 5m on a single feed, and the strips that run further, PLEX-SMD at 20 and 40 metres, are not dotless.
Because every intermediate cut breaks the silicon coating that provides the rating. A 26 metre two-end run of this strip is one run with zero cuts, where sealed PLEX-COB over the same distance would be three runs with two cuts and three drivers. Two fewer breaches of the waterproofing, two fewer drivers to house, on a run that looks identical.
Both, on the same document. Its colour-temperature field says "3000K, 4000K & 5000K" while its lumen table lists 2700K at 550 lumens per metre. The IP54 sibling names 2700K in both fields, so the extra-warm version plainly exists as a specification — but neither product sells it. We have published only what the variants can actually supply.
Ask us and we will put it to Domus. The figures are published on two separate sheets, so the product exists somewhere in the range; it is the ordering path that is missing, not the item.
About 15%. This gives 650/669/688 lumens per metre where its IP54 twin gives 770/790/810 — losses of 15.6, 15.3 and 15.1%. We have now measured that penalty across 23 pairs in four product families, spanning COB and SMD chips and both whites and saturated colours, and the mean is 15.4% with very little spread. It is a property of the silicon coating itself.
No. IP54 already covers indoor wet areas, which is what a bathroom is, and it gives you the 15% back along with cuts that do not compromise anything. Save IP67 for hosing, standing water and outdoor positions.
Because on the IP67 version the silicon coating is also a thermal blanket, so heat has fewer ways out than on the IP54 strip and the aluminium is the only path left. The sheet requires it in capitals and voids the warranty without it, and a 13 metre run needs 13 metres of profile.
