The Domus PLEX-ULTRA IP67 is a 24 V COB LED strip — 10 W per metre, 560 LEDs per metre, CRI ≥90, IP67, 1 m, at 650 / 669 / 688 lm per metre.

⭐⭐ Dotless, waterproof, and it runs 13 metres — no other product here does all three

• ⭐ Every other dotless strip in the range stops at 5 m on a single feed. ⭐ The strips that run further — PLEX-SMD at 20 and 40 m — are not dotless.
• ⭐⭐ THIS ONE IS BOTH, AND SEALED. ⭐ 13 m from one end, 26 m from two.
• ⭐ ON IP67 THE LONGER RUN IS WORTH MORE THAN IT LOOKS, ⭐ because every intermediate cut breaks the silicon coating that provides the rating:

• ⭐ Two fewer breaches of the waterproofing, two fewer drivers to house, on a run that looks identical. ⚠ Nothing in the catalogue draws that comparison.

⛔ Its own datasheet disagrees with itself about the colours

• ⭐ The sheet's colour-temperature field says “3000K, 4000K & 5000K”. ⛔ Its lumen table on the same sheet lists 2700 K at 550 lm per metre.
• ⭐ One document, two answers. ⭐ The IP54 sibling's sheet names 2700 K in BOTH fields, so the extra-warm version plainly exists as a specification. ⛔ Neither product sells it.
• ⭐ WE HAVE NOT PUBLISHED A 2700 K OPTION, ⭐ because the thing a buyer can actually order is what the variants say: 3000, 4000 and 5000 K. ⭐ If you want 2700 K at this run length, ask us and we will put it to Domus.

⭐ The waterproofing costs 15% of the light — and that is now a measured constant

⭐ This strip gives 650 / 669 / 688 lm per metre where its IP54 twin gives 770 / 790 / 810 — ⭐ a loss of 15.6, 15.3 and 15.1%. ⭐⭐ We have now measured that penalty across 23 pairs in four product families, spanning COB and SMD chips and both whites and saturated colours. ⭐ The mean is 15.4% with very little spread. ⭐ It is a property of the silicon coating itself, not of any one product — ⛔ and nothing in the catalogue mentions it. ⭐ So do not take IP67 for a bathroom: IP54 already covers indoor wet areas and gives you the 15% back.

⛔⛔ Aluminium heat sink, mandatory — and most needed here

⭐ The sheet requires it in capitals and voids the warranty without it. ⭐ On the IP67 version the silicon coating is also a thermal blanket, ⭐ so the aluminium is the only path heat has out. ⭐ A 13 m run needs 13 m of profile.
