A suggestion, not a specification. A calculator can get it wrong — have a licensed electrician confirm the driver, the total load and the wiring before you order.
The Domus PLEX-ULTRA is a 24 V COB LED strip — 10 W per metre, 560 LEDs per metre, CRI ≥90, IP54, 1 m, at 770 / 790 / 810 lm per metre.
| Strip | LEDs/m | Dotless? | ⭐ One-end run |
|---|---|---|---|
| PLEX-RGBTW | 840 | ⭐ ✅ | 5 m |
| PLEX-COB · PLEX-VIVID | 640 | ⭐ ✅ | 5 m |
| PLEX-MICRO | 480 | ⭐ ✅ | 5 m |
| ⭐ PLEX-ULTRA — this | ⭐ 560 | ⭐ ✅ | ⭐ 13 m |
| PLEX-SMD-9 | 120 | ⛔ No | 20 m |
| PLEX-SMD-5 | 70 | ⛔ No | ⭐ 40 m |
⭐ From 10 W, that is 77 to 81 lumens per watt at CRI ≥90. ⭐ It sits between the PLEX-COB-5 and PLEX-COB-10 in output while running more than twice as far as either. ⭐ The efficiency is slightly behind the plain COB strips, which is the trade for the board design that buys the run length — ⭐ and on a long run the saving in drivers and cabling usually more than covers it.
⭐ The sheet states it in capitals and voids the warranty without it. ⭐ On a strip whose selling point is long runs, that means long profiles too — ⭐ a 13 m run needs 13 m of extrusion, usually in jointed lengths. ⛔ No description says so and none of the catalogue's 47 profiles names this strip. ⭐ Ask us to quote both, and to check the joints fall where you want them.

COB LED strip, IP54, 1 m. 10 W per metre at 24 V DC. 770 lm at 3000 K, 790 at 4000 K, 810 at 5000 K. 560 LEDs per metre, dotless. CRI ≥90. 180° beam. 25 mm cutting increment. Continuous run 13 m one-end feed, 26 m two-end. Aluminium heat sink mandatory. 3-year warranty. ⭐⭐ IT IS THE ONLY DOTLESS STRIP DOMUS SELLS THAT RUNS PAST FIVE METRES. Across the range, dotless appearance and long runs are opposed — the dense boards that make a line look continuous leave no room for copper. Every other dotless strip stops at 5 m; this one goes 13, and 26 fed from both ends. ⭐ SO A 26 m RUN REPLACES WHAT WOULD BE FIVE OR SIX SEPARATE PLEX-COB RUNS, on a cove people will actually look at. ⚠ Nothing in the catalogue positions it this way.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.
It is the only dotless strip Domus sells that runs past five metres. Across the range, dotless appearance and long runs are opposed — the dense boards that make a line look continuous leave no room for copper, and copper is what sets run length. Every other dotless strip stops at 5m; this one goes 13, and 26 fed from both ends.
Because it answers a common problem: a long continuous cove or shadow gap that people will see, where the dots of an SMD strip would show and a PLEX-COB run would need a driver every five metres. A 26 metre two-end run of ULTRA replaces what would be five or six separate PLEX-COB runs.
The board. Domus describes it as "specially designed… reduces heat and resistance, allowing for longer runs than other LED Strip designs" — so it is the strip's own conductor, not the load. At 560 LEDs per metre it is less densely packed than PLEX-COB's 640, which leaves more room for copper while staying dense enough to read as a continuous line.
770 to 810 lumens per metre from 10W, so 77 to 81 lumens per watt at CRI ≥90. It sits between the PLEX-COB-5 and PLEX-COB-10 in output while running more than twice as far as either. The efficiency is slightly behind the plain COB strips — that is the trade for the board design — and on a long run the saving in drivers and cabling usually more than covers it.
Not from this listing. The datasheet lists 2700K at 670 lumens per metre and names it in the colour-temperature field, but this product sells 3000, 4000 and 5000K only. So an extra-warm PLEX-ULTRA exists as a specification and not as something you can add to a cart. Ask us — the figures are published, so it plainly exists somewhere in the Domus range.
The ones here are. Two datasheets are attached to this record and one is flagged as contradicted; everything on this page comes from the verified one.
Mandatory, and on this strip that means long lengths. The sheet states the heat-sink requirement in capitals and voids the warranty without it, so a 13 metre run needs 13 metres of extrusion, usually in jointed lengths. No description says so and none of the catalogue's 47 profiles names this strip. Ask us to quote both, and to check the joints fall where you want them.
