• ⭐ The two-end feed limit is 80 m, and this roll is 50. ⭐ So the whole roll is a single continuous run with no intermediate cut at all and one driver.
• ⭐ Every other strip in the range fragments a 50 m order:

• ⭐⭐ THE PRACTICAL DIFFERENCE IS LARGER THAN THE TABLE SUGGESTS. ⭐ One driver means one place to house it, one circuit, one dimming channel and one thing to fail. ⚠ Five drivers means five ventilated, accessible, dry locations found and cabled — and on a long external run those locations are the hardest part of the job.
• ⭐ 250 W on one driver is a substantial supply, ⭐ so it wants a 300 W unit with headroom, its own circuit, and real ventilation. ⭐ But it is ONE of them.

⭐ IP66 at fifty metres is the combination that has no alternative here

⭐ IP66 covers driving rain and hosing — Domus's own framing is “indoor or outdoor weatherproof”. ⭐ Combined with an 80 m two-end run, this is the only product in the range that will light a long external soffit, a fence line, a boundary wall or a garden path as a single unbroken line. ⭐ The IP67 strips are better sealed but run 5 m; the IP54 strips run further but cannot go outside. ⚠ Nothing in the catalogue points this out.

⚠ What you accept in exchange

• ⛔ It is not dotless. ⭐ 70 LEDs per metre against the COB strips' 640 — ⭐ fine behind a diffuser at distance, visible as points at close range or through a clear lens.
• ⚠ The cutting increment is 100 mm, ⭐ the coarsest in the range. ⭐ On a fifty metre external run that is irrelevant; on anything meeting a fixed dimension it is not.
• ⭐ Output is 500 to 550 lm per metre — ⭐ modest per metre, but 25,000 to 27,500 lumens across the roll.

⭐ The sheet voids the warranty without one. ⭐ Fifty metres of run means fifty metres of profile, ⚠ and on an external installation the profile also has to survive the exposure — UV, thermal cycling, and in coastal positions salt. ⛔ None of the catalogue's 47 profiles states its suitability for outdoor use. ⭐ Ask us before ordering; this is the one detail most likely to be got wrong on a long external run.
