The Domus PLEX-MICRO is a 24 V COB LED strip — 8 W per metre, CRI ≥90, IP54, 1 m, in 2700, 3000, 4000 or 5000 K at 640 to 720 lm per metre.

⛔⛔ Its own datasheet gives two different LED densities

• ⭐ The sheet's title line says 480 LED per metre. ⭐ The specification body on the same sheet says “Number of LED Per Metre: 560”.
• ⛔ A 17% difference, in the single figure that defines a dotless COB strip. ⭐ One document, two answers, and no way to tell from outside which is right.
• ⭐ WHAT WE CAN SAY WITH CONFIDENCE: either figure is dense enough to be genuinely dotless. ⭐ At 480 per metre the spacing is about 2.1 mm; at 560 it is 1.8 mm — ⭐ both far below the threshold where individual points become visible through a diffuser. ⭐ So the contradiction affects the record, not the appearance.
• ⭐ Either way it is LESS dense than the PLEX-COB range's 640 per metre, ⭐ which is consistent with MICRO being the narrower, lower-output product.

⭐ What PLEX-MICRO is for

• ⭐ 8 W per metre at 640 to 720 lumens — ⭐ so 80 to 90 lm/W, sitting between the 5 W and 10 W PLEX-COB strips in output.
• ⭐ THE DIFFERENCE IS PHYSICAL, NOT ELECTRICAL: MICRO is the narrow-format strip, ⭐ for places a standard 10 mm strip will not fit — slim shadow gaps, thin shelf edges, narrow profiles, tight reveals.
• ⚠ Its cutting increment is 50 mm, twice the PLEX-COB's 25 mm — ⭐ so lengths must round to a coarser step. ⭐ On short decorative runs, that is worth checking before you commit to a joinery dimension.
• ⭐ Run limits match PLEX-COB: 5 m from one end, 10 m from two.

⛔⛔ And it carries the same mandatory heat sink

⭐ The PLEX-MICRO sheet repeats the range's rule verbatim: “All LED strip must be installed on an aluminium heat sink, failure to do so WILL VOID WARRANTY.” ⚠ On a narrow strip that is a sharper constraint than usual, ⭐ because the profile has to be narrow too — ⭐ and the catalogue's 47 profiles do not state which strips they suit. ⭐ Tell us the strip and the gap and we will match a profile that fits both.
