The Domus PLEX-MICRO is a 24 V COB LED strip — 8 W per metre, CRI ≥90, IP54, 1 m, in 2700, 3000, 4000 or 5000 K at 640 to 720 lm per metre.
⭐ The PLEX-MICRO sheet repeats the range's rule verbatim: “All LED strip must be installed on an aluminium heat sink, failure to do so WILL VOID WARRANTY.” ⚠ On a narrow strip that is a sharper constraint than usual, ⭐ because the profile has to be narrow too — ⭐ and the catalogue's 47 profiles do not state which strips they suit. ⭐ Tell us the strip and the gap and we will match a profile that fits both.
⭐ Its record carries a single metafield — the IP rating. ⛔ No wattage, no voltage, no colour temperature, no beam angle, no warranty. ⭐ Everything above comes from the datasheet attached to a sibling variant. ⭐ It is the clearest single example of the pattern this programme keeps finding: the figures exist, they are just not in the fields, and a metafield audit would report this product as having no specification at all.
| Specification | Value |
|---|---|
| ⛔ LED density | ⛔ 480 or 560 per metre — its own sheet says both |
| ⭐ Either way | ⭐ Genuinely dotless — ⭐ 1.8 to 2.1 mm spacing |
| ⭐ Output | ⭐ 640 / 680 / 720 lm per metre — ⭐ 80–90 lm/W |
| Load | 8 W per metre at 24 V DC |
| ⭐ Format | ⭐ Narrow — ⭐ for gaps a 10 mm strip will not fit |
| ⚠ Cutting increment | ⚠ 50 mm — ⭐ twice PLEX-COB's |
| ⭐ Continuous run | 5 m one-end · ⭐ 10 m two-end |
| ⛔ Aluminium heat sink | ⛔ MANDATORY — ⚠ and it must be narrow too |
| ⚠ Metafields on this record | ⚠ One — the IP rating |
| Colours / CRI / beam | 2700–5000 K · CRI ≥90 · 180° |

Narrow COB LED strip, 1 m. 8 W per metre at 24 V DC. 640 lm at 3000 K, 680 at 4000 K, 720 at 5000 K. CRI ≥90. IP54. 180° beam. 50 mm cutting increment. Continuous run 5 m one-end, 10 m two-end. Aluminium heat sink mandatory. ⛔⛔ ITS OWN DATASHEET GIVES TWO DIFFERENT LED DENSITIES — 480 per metre in the title line and 560 in the specification body, a 17% difference in the figure that defines a dotless strip. Either is dense enough to be genuinely dotless, so the contradiction affects the record rather than the appearance. ⚠ AND THIS LISTING PUBLISHES A SINGLE METAFIELD, the IP rating — everything else here comes from a datasheet attached to a sibling variant.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.
Its own datasheet says both 480 and 560 — 480 in the title line and "Number of LED Per Metre: 560" in the specification body. That is a 17% difference in the single figure that defines a dotless COB strip, one document giving two answers.
Not visibly. At 480 per metre the LED spacing is about 2.1mm and at 560 it is 1.8mm — both far below the threshold where individual points become visible through a diffuser. So the contradiction affects the record, not the appearance. Either way it is less dense than the PLEX-COB range's 640 per metre, which is consistent with MICRO being the narrower, lower-output product.
Places a standard 10mm strip will not fit — slim shadow gaps, thin shelf edges, narrow profiles, tight reveals. The difference from PLEX-COB is physical rather than electrical: at 8W per metre and 640 to 720 lumens it sits between the 5W and 10W PLEX-COB strips in output.
The cutting increment. It is 50mm, twice PLEX-COB's 25mm, so lengths have to round to a coarser step. On short decorative runs that is worth checking before you commit to a joinery dimension — a 380mm shelf edge does not divide by 50.
Yes, and the requirement is sharper here. The PLEX-MICRO sheet repeats the range's rule verbatim: all LED strip must be installed on an aluminium heat sink, failure to do so will void the warranty. On a narrow strip the profile has to be narrow too, and the catalogue's 47 profiles do not state which strips they suit. Tell us the strip and the gap and we will match a profile that fits both.
Because its record carries a single metafield — the IP rating. No wattage, no voltage, no colour temperature, no beam angle, no warranty. Everything on this page comes from the datasheet attached to a sibling variant. It is the clearest example of a pattern this catalogue shows throughout: the figures exist, they are just not in the fields.
5 metres from one end or 10 metres fed from both, the same as PLEX-COB. Feeding from both ends halves the current each half carries, so the drop halves too — same driver, one extra cable, twice the unbroken length.
