A suggestion, not a specification. A calculator can get it wrong — have a licensed electrician confirm the driver, the total load and the wiring before you order.
The Domus PLEX-COB Tuneable is a 24 V tuneable-white COB LED strip — 20 W per metre, 840 LEDs per metre, 2700–6500 K, IP54, 50 m pack.
⭐ A tuneable strip carries warm and cool emitters interleaved along the same board, and mixes them to reach any point between 2700 and 6500 K. ⭐ 840 per metre is what makes that possible in a dotless strip — ⭐ against 640 on the single-colour versions, which carry one set. ⭐ The practical result is that a tuneable strip is dotless at every setting, not only at the extremes.

Tuneable-white COB LED strip, 50 m pack. 20 W per metre at 24 V DC, 1000 W total. 840 LEDs per metre. CRI90. 2700–6500 K. IP54. Driver and controller required per run. ⭐ THE HIGHEST LOAD IN THE FAMILY MEANS THE SHORTEST REACH — the range publishes 5 m from one feed on the 14 W strip, and this draws 20 W/m, about 43% more current. ⛔ NO RUN LIMIT IS PUBLISHED AT THIS WATTAGE. ⚠ SO A 50 m PACK IS A LARGE NUMBER OF SHORT RUNS, each needing a driver, a controller channel and a feed point. ⭐ THE QUESTION TO SETTLE FIRST: does all fifty metres change colour together, or separately? That drives the controller count, and it is far cheaper to decide before the cable is run.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.
Not published at this wattage, and it will be shorter than the range's stated figures. The PLEX-COB range publishes 5 metres from a single feed and 10 fed from both ends, but those are stated on the 14W RGB strip. This draws 20W per metre — the highest in the family and about 43% more current — so it will not carry as far. Ask us before laying out anything over about 4 metres on a single feed.
A large number of short runs. At best ten 5 metre runs; more likely twelve or more shorter ones. Each needs a driver, a controller channel and a feed point. So this format suits a project where the tuneable detail repeats across many small runs — a hotel corridor of alcoves, a retail fitout with shelf lines, a series of bathroom mirrors.
Not with this strip. If a long unbroken tuneable line is what you need, the answer is a lower-wattage strip or a different technology. Tell us the length first and we will say what can actually achieve it — that is a conversation worth having before the detail is drawn rather than after.
Whether all fifty metres change colour together or separately. Together is simpler and cheaper — one control, one scene, one thing for the client to learn. Separately is what a real building usually wants, because a north-facing room and a south-facing one do not want the same colour at the same time, and that is the whole reason for buying tuneable in the first place.
Because it drives the controller count and the commissioning effort, and it is much cheaper to decide before the cable is run than after. Nothing on the listing raises it, which is why a fifty-metre tuneable order can arrive with a control design nobody has thought about.
Because a tuneable strip carries warm and cool emitters interleaved along the same board, and mixes them to reach any point between 2700 and 6500K. 840 per metre is what makes that possible in a dotless strip, against 640 on the single-colour versions which carry one set. The practical result is that it is dotless at every setting, not only at the extremes.
1000 watts across fifty metres, at 20W per metre. Split across ten or more drivers that is manageable, but it is worth knowing as a figure before the circuit design is done — it is a substantial load for what reads as a decorative detail.

| ⭐ THE HIGHEST LOAD IN THE FAMILY | 20 W/m — ⭐ and therefore the SHORTEST reach |

| ⛔ It does NOT suit one long line | ⚠ This strip cannot make one |
| ⭐⭐ THE QUESTION TO SETTLE FIRST | ⭐ Does all 50 m change colour TOGETHER, or SEPARATELY? |
| ⭐ Together = one control, one scene | ⭐ Separately = what a real building usually wants |
