A suggestion, not a specification. A calculator can get it wrong — have a licensed electrician confirm the driver, the total load and the wiring before you order.
The Domus PLEX-COB-5-IP67 is a 24 V COB LED strip — 5 W per metre, 640 LEDs per metre, CRI ≥90, IP67, 5 m pack, at 380 / 425 / 425 lm per metre.
⭐ The datasheet states it in capitals: the strip must be installed on an aluminium heat sink or the warranty is void. ⭐ Five metres of strip needs five metres of profile. ⛔ No description says it and none of the 47 profiles in the catalogue mentions PLEX-COB. ⭐ On IP67 it matters more than on IP54, because the silicon coating is also a thermal blanket. ⭐ Ask us to quote both.
⭐ A one metre offcut tells you the colour and the dottiness. ⭐ Five metres tells you the thing a metre cannot: whether 5 W per metre is bright enough across a real distance, ⭐ and whether the light stays even from the feed end to the far end. ⭐ Those are the two questions that actually decide a strip specification, and they are the two a short sample cannot answer. ⭐ If you are choosing between wattages for a larger job, five metres of the cheapest one is a better test than one metre of each.

COB LED strip, IP67 silicon coated, 5 m pack. 5 W per metre at 24 V DC, 25 W total. 380 lm at 3000 K, 425 lm at 4000 and 5000 K. 640 LEDs per metre, dotless. CRI ≥90. 180° beam. 25 mm cutting increment. Driver approximately 30 W. 3-year warranty. ⭐⭐ TWO OF THESE PACKS MAKE A TEN METRE RUN WITH A SINGLE JOIN — the sheet allows 10 m on a two-end feed, so two packs fed from their outer ends give one driver, one opening in the silicon coating, and ten metres of unbroken light where the catalogue implies five is the maximum. NOTHING ON ANY PAGE TELLS YOU THIS IS POSSIBLE. ⛔ And five metres of strip still needs five metres of mandatory aluminium profile.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.
Yes — ten metres, from two packs. The sheet allows 10m on a two-end feed against 5m on one end, so two packs joined end to end and fed from their outer ends give a ten metre continuous run with a single join. One driver, one opening in the silicon coating, and ten metres of unbroken light.
Because nothing joins the two facts. The 10m figure is one line inside a PDF and the pack size is in the title, and no page connects them. The catalogue implies five metres is the maximum.
For exactly five metres, one pack is ideal — it matches the one-end feed limit exactly, so it is one complete run with no cut at all and the silicon coating stays intact end to end. Tell us the run length and we will work out whether one pack, two packs or a cut length gives the fewest openings.

Five metres of the cheapest one, rather than one metre of each. If 5W per metre is enough over a real run, you have your answer and everything downstream gets smaller. If it is not, you know to step up — and you have learned it at the lowest price.
About 30 watts for the pack, which is small enough to hide inside joinery or behind a panel. That is one of the practical advantages of the 5W strip — the driver stops being a planning problem.
