A suggestion, not a specification. A calculator can get it wrong — have a licensed electrician confirm the driver, the total load and the wiring before you order.
The Domus PLEX-COB-5-IP67 is a 24 V COB LED strip — 5 W per metre, 640 LEDs per metre, CRI ≥90, IP67, 50 m, in 2700, 3000, 4000 and 5000 K.
| Format | IP | 2700 K | 3000/4000/5000 K |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 m | IP54 & IP67 | ⭐ ✅ only | ⛔ — |
| 5 m pack | IP54 & IP67 | ⛔ — | ⭐ ✅ |
| 20 m roll | IP54 & IP67 | ⛔ — | ⭐ ✅ |
| 50 m, IP54 | IP54 | ⭐ split across two listings | ⭐ ✅ |
| ⭐ 50 m, IP67 — this one | IP67 | ⭐ ✅ | ⭐ ✅ |
⭐ The sheet publishes 2700 K at 390 lm per metre against 3000 K's 380 — ⚠ so 2700 K is marginally BRIGHTER than 3000 K here, which is the reverse of the usual pattern. ⭐ Warmer whites normally cost efficiency, because the phosphor conversion is heavier. ⚠ Across the range the 2700 K figures sit outside the pattern that every other colour follows exactly, ⭐ so we would treat them as approximate rather than precise, and we have asked Domus. ⭐ What is not in doubt is the appearance: 2700 K is visibly warmer, close to an incandescent lamp, and it suits living spaces and timber.
⭐ The datasheet requires an aluminium heat sink in capitals and voids the warranty without one. ⛔ No description says it; none of the catalogue's 47 profiles mentions PLEX-COB. ⭐ At fifty metres that is a second material purchase of comparable size, and it has to be in the budget from the start. ⭐ Ask us to quote both together.
⭐ The sheet allows 10 m on a two-end feed against 5 m on one end, ⭐ so fifty metres is five runs and five drivers rather than ten. ⭐ On IP67 that also takes the intermediate cuts from nine to four — ⭐ five fewer breaks in the silicon coating, for no extra cable.
| Specification | Value |

| ⭐ Colours | ⭐ All four — 2700, 3000, 4000, 5000 K |
| ⭐ 2700 K availability | ⭐ Only here and the 1 m sample |
| ⛔ Aluminium heat sink | ⛔ MANDATORY — ⭐ 50 m of profile too |
| ⭐ Output | ⭐ 390 lm at 2700 K · 380 / 425 / 425 for the rest |
| Load | 5 W per metre — ⭐ 250 W total |
| ⭐ Continuous run | 5 m one-end · ⭐ 10 m two-end |
| ⭐ So 50 m needs | ⭐ 5 drivers and 4 cuts, not 10 and 9 |
| LED density / CRI | 640 per metre, dotless · CRI ≥90 |
| ⭐ Cutting increment | ⭐ 25 mm |
| ⛔ Driver | ⛔ 24 V DC constant voltage — required |

COB LED strip, IP67 silicon coated, 50 m. 5 W per metre at 24 V DC, 250 W total. 2700, 3000, 4000 and 5000 K. 640 LEDs per metre, dotless. CRI ≥90. 180° beam. 25 mm cutting increment. Continuous run 5 m one-end, 10 m two-end. 3-year warranty. ⭐⭐ THE ONLY PLEX-COB-5 LISTING CARRYING ALL FOUR COLOURS. 2700 K exists in exactly two places in the whole range — the 1 m sample and this 50 m roll — with no 5 m or 20 m option at any IP rating. That is an odd gap, because 2700 K is a domestic colour and 5 to 20 metres is a domestic quantity: you can sample it or commit to fifty metres, with nothing in between. ⛔ AND FIFTY METRES OF STRIP IS FIFTY METRES OF MANDATORY ALUMINIUM PROFILE.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.
It is the only PLEX-COB-5 listing carrying all four colour temperatures. We mapped every format against 2700, 3000, 4000 and 5000K — the 1m sells 2700K alone, the 5m and 20m sell the other three, and only this 50m roll offers all four.
Only the 1 metre sample. 2700K exists in exactly two places in the whole range — that sample and this 50 metre roll — with no 5m or 20m option at any IP rating. It is an odd gap, because 2700K is a domestic colour and 5 to 20 metres is a domestic quantity. You can sample it or commit to fifty metres, with nothing in between.
Ask us. It is a catalogue gap rather than a manufacturing one — Domus cut this strip to length anyway, and the 2700K chip clearly exists. We will put the request to them.
The sheet says slightly brighter — 390 lumens per metre against 380 — which is the reverse of the usual pattern, because warmer whites normally cost efficiency through heavier phosphor conversion. Across the range the 2700K figures sit outside the pattern every other colour follows exactly, so we treat them as approximate rather than precise and we have asked Domus. What is not in doubt is the appearance: 2700K is visibly warmer, close to an incandescent lamp, and it suits living spaces and timber.
Fifty metres of aluminium profile. The datasheet requires a heat sink in capitals and voids the warranty without one, no description says so, and none of the catalogue's 47 profiles mentions PLEX-COB. At this length it is a second material purchase of comparable size and it belongs in the budget from the start.
Five, not ten — the sheet allows 10 metres on a two-end feed against 5 on one end. On IP67 that also takes the intermediate cuts from nine to four, so five fewer breaks in the silicon coating, for no extra cable.
No, and that is one of the quiet advantages of the 5W strip. Fifty metres draws 250 watts, where the same fifty metres of the 20W strip draws 1000. It fits a normal supply without special provision, and 5W per metre is enough light for most continuous runs.
