A suggestion, not a specification. A calculator can get it wrong — have a licensed electrician confirm the driver, the total load and the wiring before you order.
The Domus PLEX-COB-10-IP67 is a 24 V COB LED strip — 10 W per metre, 640 LEDs per metre, CRI90, IP67, 5 m pack, in 3000, 4000 or 5000 K.
| Part | ⭐ What you need |
|---|---|
| Strip | ⭐ One 5 m pack |
| Driver | ⭐ 50 W of load → ⭐ a 60 W 24 V DC driver |
| Connector | ⭐ One live cable — ⚠ described for IP54; ask us for IP67 |
| Profile | ⭐ Optional — ⭐ at 640 LEDs/m no depth is needed for optics |
| Dimmer | ⭐ Optional — the strip is dimmable at the driver |
⭐ That is a complete, coherent installation from one page plus a driver — ⭐ and it is the shortest path to a working wet-area strip run that this catalogue offers.
⭐ This pack sells 3000, 4000 and 5000 K. ⛔ 2700 K exists in IP67 but only as a 1 m sample or a 50 m quantity. ⚠ So the format that best preserves the IP67 rating cannot supply the warmest colour — ⭐ which is an unfortunate combination, because 2700 K and IP67 together is exactly a domestic bathroom. ⭐ Tell us the length and colour and we will ask Domus what can be cut.
| Specification | Value |
|---|---|
| Format | ⭐ 5 m pack — ⭐ exactly one run, no cuts |
| Load | 10 W per metre — ⭐ 50 W for the pack |
| ⭐ Driver sizing | ⭐ ≈60 W at 24 V DC |
| ⭐ LED density | ⭐ 640 per metre — dotless |
| Colour rendering | ⭐ CRI90 |
| Colour temperature | 3000 / 4000 / 5000 K — ⛔ no 2700 K here |

COB LED strip, IP67 silicon coated, 5 m pack. 10 W per metre at 24 V DC, 50 W total. 640 LEDs per metre, dotless. CRI90. 3000, 4000 or 5000 K. 180° beam. Dimmable. Driver required, approximately 60 W. 3-year warranty. ⭐⭐ A 5 m IP67 PACK IS THE ONLY CONFIGURATION IN THE RANGE THAT NEEDS NO CUT AT ALL — the published run limit is 5 m from one feed and the pack is 5 m, so one pack is one run and the silicon coating that makes it IP67 stays intact end to end. ⚠ A 20 m roll is four runs and three cuts; a 50 m roll is ten runs and nine. ⭐ On a wet-area job that can be built from 5 m sections, this format preserves the property you paid for — and nothing in the catalogue points it out.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.
Because it is the only configuration in the range that needs no cut at all. The PLEX-COB range publishes a maximum run of 5 metres from a single tail and driver, and this pack is 5 metres — so one pack is exactly one run.
Because the rating comes from a continuous silicon coating and every cut breaks it. A 5m pack used whole has no intermediate cut: the coating stays intact from one end to the other. A 20m roll is four runs and three cuts; a 50m roll is ten runs and nine — each a point where the rating is broken, with nothing published on how to restore it.
Exactly that. On any wet-area job that can be built from 5 metre sections, buying by the 5m pack is not just simpler — it preserves the property you bought the IP67 for. Nothing in the catalogue points this out, which is why it is worth stating plainly.
Yes, which opens the coating at two points. But two dry terminations in a cabinet is a far easier problem than nine cuts distributed along a run. Put both ends somewhere dry and the wet length stays sealed.
One 5m pack, a 60W 24V DC driver — 50W of load plus headroom — and one live cable connector. A profile is optional, because at 640 LEDs per metre you do not need depth for optics. A dimmer is optional too; the strip dims at the driver. That is the shortest path to a working wet-area strip run this catalogue offers.
Not in this format. 2700K exists in IP67 but only as a 1m sample or a 50m quantity — so the format that best preserves the IP67 rating cannot supply the warmest colour. That is an unfortunate combination, because 2700K and IP67 together is exactly a domestic bathroom. Tell us the length and colour and we will ask Domus what can be cut.
Not identified anywhere. The PLEX-COB connector range is described for "all our IP54 COB strip" and the IP67 strip is not named. Ask us before ordering if the termination has to hold a rating.

| ⭐⭐ THE ONLY CONFIGURATION NEEDING NO CUT | ⭐ 5 m pack = 5 m run limit = one run |
| ⭐ Why that matters on IP67 | ⭐ The rating IS a continuous silicon coating |
| ⭐ Used whole | ⭐ NO intermediate cut — ⭐ the coating stays intact end to end |
| ⚠ A 20 m roll | Four runs, ⭐ three cuts |
| ⚠ A 50 m roll | Ten runs, ⭐ nine cuts |
| ⭐ So on a job built from 5 m sections | ⭐ This format PRESERVES the property you paid for |
| ⚠ And nothing in the catalogue says so | ⭐ The run limit and the pack size never meet |
| ⭐ You still terminate two ends | ⭐ But two DRY terminations beats nine distributed cuts |
