The Domus PLEO-VIVID Side is a 24 V side-emitting fixed-colour LED neon flex — 9.6 W per metre, IP67, 20 m roll, in red, blue or green.

⛔ It sells a colour you cannot sample

• ⭐ This roll offers red, BLUE and green. ⛔ Its own 1 m sample listing offers red and green only. ⚠ So blue is buyable in 20 m and not samplable in one.
• ⭐ And on the STANDARD version the gap runs the other way: yellow is samplable in 1 m and NOT available on a roll.
• ⭐⭐ Two mismatches, in opposite directions, on different colours, in different versions. ⭐ Which means there is no rule to apply — ⚠ every colour, format and emission combination has to be checked individually.
• ⭐ The practical consequence for blue specifically: you would be committing 20 metres to a colour you have not seen. ⭐ On a saturated colour that is a real risk, because “blue” covers a wide range — roughly 460 to 480 nm are all blues and they do not look alike. ⛔ No dominant wavelength is published.

⭐ Side-emitting flex fires from its edge, so it follows a curve drawn on a flat plane where a top-view flex would twist. ⭐ Combine that with a permanent saturated colour and a 20 m continuous roll, and you have the neon-effect signage specification: ⭐ formed lettering, logos and outlines, in one colour, with no joint. ⭐ The roll matters here because a joint in a letterform is visible in a way it never is in a cove.

⭐ Saturated colour emitters vary between production batches, ⚠ so two lengths of “blue” from different batches can be visibly different butted together — ⭐ and the eye catches a colour shift far faster than a brightness one. ⭐ One roll is one batch. ⭐ If the job needs more than 20 m, ask us for consecutive rolls from a single batch — ⭐ free to request, impossible afterwards.

⭐ CRI measures how a WHITE source renders reference colours. ⛔ A saturated single-colour emitter has no colour temperature and renders nothing — ⭐ the measurement is undefined, not low. ⭐ The figure is inherited from the white PLEO range. ⭐ The figure that would actually describe this product is the dominant wavelength, ⛔ which is not published.
