A suggestion, not a specification. A calculator can get it wrong — have a licensed electrician confirm the driver, the total load and the wiring before you order.
The Domus PLEO-VIVID Side is a 24 V side-emitting fixed-colour LED neon flex — 9.6 W per metre, IP67, 20 m roll, in red, blue or green.
⭐ Side-emitting flex fires from its edge, so it follows a curve drawn on a flat plane where a top-view flex would twist. ⭐ Combine that with a permanent saturated colour and a 20 m continuous roll, and you have the neon-effect signage specification: ⭐ formed lettering, logos and outlines, in one colour, with no joint. ⭐ The roll matters here because a joint in a letterform is visible in a way it never is in a cove.
⭐ Saturated colour emitters vary between production batches, ⚠ so two lengths of “blue” from different batches can be visibly different butted together — ⭐ and the eye catches a colour shift far faster than a brightness one. ⭐ One roll is one batch. ⭐ If the job needs more than 20 m, ask us for consecutive rolls from a single batch — ⭐ free to request, impossible afterwards.
⭐ CRI measures how a WHITE source renders reference colours. ⛔ A saturated single-colour emitter has no colour temperature and renders nothing — ⭐ the measurement is undefined, not low. ⭐ The figure is inherited from the white PLEO range. ⭐ The figure that would actually describe this product is the dominant wavelength, ⛔ which is not published.

Side-emitting fixed-colour 24 V DC LED neon flex, 20 m roll. 9.6 W per metre. 140 SMD LEDs per metre, cut in 50 mm increments. IP67. Red, blue or green. 3-year warranty. ⛔ IT SELLS A COLOUR YOU CANNOT SAMPLE — this roll carries blue and its own 1 m listing does not. ⭐ AND ON THE STANDARD VERSION THE GAP RUNS THE OTHER WAY: yellow is samplable and not available on a roll. ⭐ Two mismatches in opposite directions means there is NO RULE TO APPLY — every colour, format and emission combination has to be checked. ⚠ For blue you would be committing 20 metres to a colour you have not seen, and no dominant wavelength is published.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.
Not from the catalogue — this roll carries red, blue and green, and its own 1m sample listing carries red and green only. So blue is buyable in 20 metres and not samplable in one. Ask us anyway: the 1m listing not carrying blue does not necessarily mean a metre cannot be supplied, and we will check with Domus.
No, and that is the point. On the standard VIVID version the gap runs the other way — yellow is samplable in 1m and not available on a roll. Two mismatches, in opposite directions, on different colours, in different versions. So there is no rule to apply: every colour, format and emission combination has to be checked individually.
Because "blue" covers a wide range — roughly 460 to 480nm are all blues and they do not look alike. On a saturated colour the difference between two blues is immediately visible, particularly against a brand colour or a specified finish. No dominant wavelength is published, which is the figure that would let you specify it precisely.

No. CRI measures how a white source renders reference colours; a saturated single-colour emitter has no colour temperature and renders nothing, so the measurement is undefined rather than low. The figure is inherited from the white PLEO range.
To multiples of 50mm. The flex cuts in 50mm increments, which comes from its layout — 140 LEDs per metre is one every 7.14mm, and 50 divided by 7.14 is exactly 7, so a cut segment is a block of seven LEDs in series. Across a word or a logo that rounding accumulates, so lay the letterforms out to the increment before ordering.
