• ⭐ This 1 m listing offers two colours: red and green. ⛔ Its own 20 m roll offers three — red, blue and GREEN. ⚠ Blue is buyable on a roll and not samplable in a metre.
• ⭐ That is the reverse of the problem elsewhere in this range. ⭐ On the standard version, yellow is samplable in 1 m and NOT available on a roll. ⚠ Here, blue is available on a roll and not samplable.
• ⭐ So the two formats disagree in BOTH directions, on different colours, in different versions. ⭐ There is no rule to apply — ⚠ each combination has to be checked.
• ⭐ The practical answer: tell us the colour AND the format AND the emission direction before you design around it. ⭐ All three have to line up, and the catalogue will not tell you whether they do.
• ⚠ Whether these are genuine product limits or listing gaps we cannot tell — ⭐ we will ask Domus.

⭐ Side-emitting colour — and the one job it is really for

• ⭐ Side-emitting flex fires from its EDGE, so it bends easily in the direction a flat curve needs. ⚠ A top-emitting flex forced round a curve drawn on a plane twists, and the emitting face rolls over.
• ⭐ Combine that with fixed saturated colour and you have exactly one classic application: NEON-EFFECT SIGNAGE. ⭐ Formed lettering, logos and outlines are curves drawn on a flat plane, in one permanent colour. ⭐ That is what side-view VIVID is for, and it is why the combination exists.
• ⭐ It is also why the cut increment matters more here than anywhere. ⭐ Letters are set out to a drawing, and a 50 mm rounding on each stroke accumulates. ⭐ Lay out the letterforms to multiples of 50 mm before the flex is ordered, ⚠ not after.

⭐ And the figure signage really needs is not published

⛔ The DOMINANT WAVELENGTH. ⭐ A brand red is a specific colour, and “red” covers a wide range — roughly 610 to 640 nm are all reds and they do not look alike. ⚠ The title's CRI90 tells you nothing here: CRI describes a white source, and this is a saturated single colour. ⭐ If the colour has to match a brand, ask us for the wavelength and buy a 1 m sample to look at against the actual brand material.
