A suggestion, not a specification. A calculator can get it wrong — have a licensed electrician confirm the driver, the total load and the wiring before you order.
The Domus PLEO-7.2 Top View is a 24 V top-emitting LED neon flex — 7.2 W per metre, CRI90, IP67, 20 m reel, in 3000, 4000 or 5000 K.
⭐ A reel is one continuous piece. ⭐ A joint in a cove is visible for the whole length of the run, ⭐ so ordering the run from one reel removes it entirely. ⭐ At 20 m and a published 20 m single-feed limit, one reel and one driver is a complete, coherent installation — ⭐ which is a tidier proposition than most of this catalogue offers.

Top-emitting 24 V DC LED neon flex, 20 m reel. 7.2 W per metre. 140 SMD LEDs per metre, cut in 50 mm increments. CRI90. 3000 / 4000 / 5000 K. IP67. Up to 20 m from one feed, 40 m from both. ⛔ IT PUBLISHES NO IP RATING IN A FIELD AND ITS DESCRIPTION SAYS IP67 — and 8 of the 19 PLEO flex listings do the same. ⭐ A specification sheet built from structured fields alone would show all eight as unrated, and a customer filtering by IP would lose them. ⭐ IP67 IS DUST-TIGHT AND RATED FOR TEMPORARY IMMERSION, which on a flexible product is unusual and is one of the better reasons to choose flex for a floor cove or a washdown position.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.
IP67 — dust-tight and protected against temporary immersion. It appears in the description rather than in a specification field on this listing, which is why it is worth stating plainly.
We measured it: of 19 PLEO flex listings, 11 publish an IP rating in a field and eight do not — and all eight describe IP67 products. A specification sheet built from structured fields alone would show all eight as unrated, and a customer filtering by IP rating would lose them.
Because IP67 is a genuinely high rating and an unusual one on a flexible product. It is one of the better reasons to choose flex for a floor cove, an outdoor soffit, or anywhere that gets washed down. Having that quality disappear into a blank field is a real cost, not a cosmetic one.
Up to 20 metres of continuous light from a single driver feed at one end, or 40 metres powered from both ends. That figure appears on the 7.2W listings and nowhere else in the PLEO range — it is the answer to the question every long low-voltage run raises.
Because current enters from two directions and the worst point moves to the middle instead of the end. Voltage drops along the length, and the visible result is a line that fades toward the far end — which on a cove is exactly where the eye travels. Feeding both ends costs a second cable route, planned before the ceiling closes.
7.2W per metre over 20 metres is 144W, so a 180W driver with headroom. That is not a small object and it will not fit inside a cove detail — it needs a cupboard or a ceiling access panel. Since the driver is the part most likely to fail, sealing it into a cavity is the mistake that costs most later.
Because it is one continuous piece, and a joint in a cove is visible for the whole length of the run. At 20 metres with a published 20 metre single-feed limit, one reel and one driver is a complete, coherent installation — a tidier proposition than most of this catalogue offers.
