The Domus PLEO 4×8 mm Rigid Profile is an aluminium channel for LED strip and neon flex — 3 m lengths, with mounting clips, in polished aluminium.
| Section | Bendable, per metre | Rigid, per metre | Rigid, 3 m |
|---|---|---|---|
| ⭐ 4 × 8 mm | ✅ 21890 | ✅ 21914 | ⭐ ✅ 21918 — this one |
| 6.5 × 11 mm | ✅ 21898 | ✅ 21922 | ✅ 21926 |
| 10 × 10 mm | ✅ 21906 | ✅ 21930 | ✅ 21934 |
⭐ At 4 mm wide and 8 mm deep this is the smallest profile in the range and among the smallest Domus sells. ⭐ It suits a fine reveal, a shadow line, a stair nosing, a shelf edge — details where anything larger would read as a fitting rather than a line. ⚠ The 4 mm width is the constraint: ⭐ it takes a narrow flex or strip and nothing else. ⛔ No maximum strip width is published, ⭐ so tell us what you are running before you order.
⭐ Domus states this profile works both ways — ⚠ unusual here, where the Nova and Micro families sell the two separately. ⭐ One part, no flange question.

Rigid aluminium LED profile, 4 × 8 mm, 3 m. Recessed or surface mounted. Supplied with mounting clips. Polished aluminium, powder coat on request. Customisable lengths. Houses PLEO neon flex and compatible LED strip. Order code LP-0408-RG-3M. ⭐ THE PLEO RANGE IS NINE LISTINGS — three sections in bendable-per-metre, rigid-per-metre and rigid-3m — complete and consistent, with no gaps, duplicates or double-named listings. ⭐ AND THE ONE MISSING CELL IS DELIBERATE: there is no "bendable 3m" at any size, because a bendable profile ships coiled on a reel and is sold by the metre by its nature. ⭐ A missing cell in a matrix usually is not coherent — this one is.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.
Nine listings: three sections — 4 x 8, 6.5 x 11 and 10 x 10mm — each in bendable per metre, rigid per metre, and rigid 3m. Complete and consistent, with no gaps, no duplicates and no listing sold under two names, which makes it better catalogued than most families in this range.
Because it would not be a sensible product. A bendable profile is supplied coiled, on a reel, so it is sold by the metre by its nature — a rigid 3m stick is a different physical thing. The absence is coherent, which is worth saying, because a missing cell in a matrix usually is not.
For one long, straight, continuous run — it means one joint fewer than two shorter pieces, and on a lit line a joint is what the eye finds. Per-metre suits several short runs across a job, where you order the lengths you actually have rather than a stick plus offcuts. Both are cut to order, so it is about what you are quoting rather than about cutting.
The run lengths and the number of separate runs. Metreage alone does not tell us how many runs there are, and the run count is what sets the number of end pieces and feed points. Tell us both and nothing arrives short.
Fine details — a reveal, a shadow line, a stair nosing, a shelf edge — where anything larger would read as a fitting rather than as a line. It is the smallest profile in the range and among the smallest Domus sells.
The 4mm width. It takes a narrow flex or strip and nothing else, and no maximum strip width is published. Tell us what you intend to run before you order, because a strip a fraction too wide simply will not seat.
Yes, or surface mount it — Domus states this profile works both ways from the same part. That is unusual here, where the Nova and Micro families sell recessed and surface as separate products with different widths. One part means no flange question and no chance of buying the wrong half.
