The Domus NOVA-20 SM is a surface-mounted aluminium LED profile, sold per metre — with a flat opal PMMA diffuser and end caps, in three finishes.
⭐ This is the least committal profile purchase in the family. ⭐ Surface mounting needs no groove, so the range's unpublished width costs you nothing; ⭐ per-metre ordering means you buy the exact runs you have; ⭐ and if the layout changes, the profile unclips and re-fixes. ⚠ The one thing it still needs is a straight substrate — ⭐ the clips hold the profile true, not the shelf.
⛔ No strip, no driver. ⭐ Domus IP54 strip range, ⭐ with a remote driver that needs somewhere accessible to live.

Surface-mounted LED strip profile, sold per metre, 3 m maximum continuous length. Nominal 20 × 10 mm. Flat opal PMMA diffuser and end caps. Extruded aluminium in aluminium, black or white. For the Domus IP54 strip range. Order code LP-2010-SM. ⭐ "& Ec" MEANS END CAPS, AND NO LISTING SAYS HOW MANY. The arithmetic is not obvious: one 2m run needs TWO caps, two separate 1m runs need FOUR — the same metreage, twice the caps — and a 5m run in two butted pieces needs only two. ⭐ SO TELL US THE NUMBER OF RUNS, not just the total length. ⚠ An uncapped end shows the raw extrusion, the strip and the wiring, and under a bench that is the first thing anyone notices.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.
End caps. Every Domus profile title ends "C/W ... Diff & Ec" — complete with the diffuser and end caps. What no listing says is how many end caps, or whether the count follows the metres you order.
Because the arithmetic is not obvious. A single 2m run needs two caps. Two separate 1m runs need four — the same metreage, twice the caps. And a 5m run made from two pieces needs only two, because the joint is butted rather than capped. So a per-metre order cannot infer the cap count from the metres.
The number of runs as well as the total length. That is the figure that sets the cap count, and it is the one piece of information a per-metre order does not carry. It takes a sentence and avoids the most common shortfall on a profile job.
An uncapped profile end shows the raw extrusion, the strip and the wiring. Under a bench at eye level that is the first thing anyone notices, and a missing cap on a Friday afternoon stops the job. It is a small part with a disproportionate effect on both the finish and the programme.
It is still worth fitting. Even where nobody sees the end, the cap keeps dust and vapour out of the channel — which is exactly what Domus itself names as the thing that damages LEDs. So the cap is doing a job beyond the visual one.
Because it is the least committal profile purchase in the family. Surface mounting needs no groove, so this range's unpublished width costs you nothing. Per-metre ordering means you buy the exact runs you have rather than sticks plus offcuts. And if the layout changes, the profile unclips and re-fixes. The one thing it still needs is a straight substrate.
Neither. It is complete with the flat opal PMMA diffuser and end caps. It is for the Domus IP54 strip range, with a remote driver that needs somewhere accessible to live — a driver in a sealed cavity is one you cannot replace, and it fails before the LEDs do.
