The Domus NOVA-17 Recessed Mounting Profile is a recessed aluminium LED profile — 23 mm wide, 8 mm high, with a flat opal PMMA diffuser, in three finishes.

Is 23mm the width I rout to?

No — 23mm is across the flange, the lip that sits on the surface. The strip channel is 17 x 7mm, and the groove you rout is the body plus a working tolerance rather than the flange width. Confirm the exact figure with us before the joinery is cut; this is the one dimension that cannot be corrected afterwards.

What is the flange for?

It covers the edge of your groove, so a cut that is a millimetre rough disappears under it. That is genuinely useful on site, and it is the main practical advantage of a recessed profile over a surface one beyond the flush finish.

Does it include a strip or driver?

Neither. It is supplied as the profile with a flat opal PMMA diffuser. The strip and the driver are separate purchases, and the driver needs somewhere accessible to live, since it is the part that fails first. Tell us the run and we will quote all three together.

What finishes are available?

Aluminium (22048), black (22092) and white (22093). Match the substrate rather than the room — a white profile in a white ceiling disappears, and under a bench the profile is seen from below at close range where a mismatch shows.

Warranties

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.

Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.

Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.

Damaged or Missing Items

Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.

If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.

Returns

Change of Mind Returns

  • Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
  • The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Cancellations

Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
