The Domus MIRROR-20 is a 1140 mm LED vanity light — 20 W, tri-colour switchable, 2100–2300 lm, IP40, in satin brass.

⛔⛔ “Available in five finishes” — and this page sells one
  • ⭐ The description says the MIRROR range comes in black, white, chrome, satin chrome and satin brass. ⛔ This listing sells satin brass only.

⭐ The largest of the three, and the flattest colour response

⭐ 2100 lm at 3000 K, 2200 at 4000 K, 2300 at 5700 K. ⭐ Warm to cool gains 200 lm — about 10% — which is the narrowest spread of the three sizes (the 15 W gains 16%). ⭐ So on this model the colour setting is much more a colour decision than a brightness one, ⭐ which makes it the easiest of the three to choose for.

The description says five finishes — why can I only buy satin brass?

Because the range is split across two listings. This one sells satin brass; black, white, chrome and satin chrome are on a separate listing sold under a different name — "MIRROR-20 Wall Vanity or Picture Light" against this page's "MIRROR 20W 1140mm 240V LED TRIO". Neither page mentions the other, so you would not find it by browsing from here.

Is the other listing a different product?

No — and that was our first assumption too, that it might be a plainer fixed-colour version. It is not. It is tri-colour switchable with the identical output series, so there is no specification trade-off between them at all. Only the finish and the title differ. If you want this fitting in white, black or chrome, ask us and we will get it.

Anything to watch if I go looking for it?

Yes — the other listing spells it "Stain Chrome" rather than "Satin Chrome", so a search for "satin chrome" will not find it. That is worth knowing before you conclude the finish does not exist.

How much does the colour setting change the brightness?

Less on this model than either other. 2100 lumens at 3000K, 2200 at 4000K and 2300 at 5700K — so warm to cool gains 200 lumens, about 10%, against 16% on the 15W and 13% on the 10W. So here the setting is much more a colour decision than a brightness one, which makes this the easiest of the three to choose for.

Can I put it in a shower or over a bath?

No. It is IP40, and the second digit of an IP rating is the water one — zero means no protection against water at all. Above a basin mirror on a dry wall is the application. Your electrician sets out the bathroom zones on site, and it is a question to settle before the wall is lined.

Is it dimmable?

No — Domus states it plainly. A dimmer gives flicker or nothing rather than dimming. A low evening level in the room has to come from a separate circuit.

What size mirror does 1140mm suit?

A 1200 to 1500mm vanity mirror, or a double vanity where two smaller fittings would read as a pair rather than one line. As a rule the fitting looks best a little narrower than the mirror. The other two sizes are 580mm (10W) and 860mm (15W).

Warranties

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.

Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.

Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.

Damaged or Missing Items

Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.

If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.

Returns

Change of Mind Returns

  • Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
  • The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Cancellations

Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
