The Domus MIRROR-10 is a 580 mm LED vanity light — 10 W, tri-colour switchable, 1040–1180 lm, IP40, in satin brass.
| Setting | Output | Efficacy |
|---|---|---|
| 3000 K warm white | 1040 lm | 104 lm/W |
| 4000 K neutral white | 1110 lm | 111 lm/W |
| 5700 K white | ⭐ 1180 lm | ⭐ 118 lm/W |
⭐ Domus states this plainly, and it is worth catching early. ⚠ Wiring it to a dimmer will not give you a dimmer — ⭐ at best nothing, at worst flicker or a shortened life. ⭐ If a low evening setting matters, that has to come from a second circuit rather than from this fitting.

580 mm LED vanity / picture light. 10 W at 240 V AC. Tri-colour switchable 3000 K (1040 lm) / 4000 K (1110 lm) / 5700 K (1180 lm) by DIP switch on the end cap. IP40. Non-dimmable. SMD. Ridged aluminium body, opal-frost polycarbonate diffuser, chrome adjustable knuckles. Satin brass. 3-year replacement warranty. ⛔ IP40 MEANS NO WATER PROTECTION AT ALL — the second digit is zero. Fine above a basin mirror on a dry wall; not inside a shower enclosure, not over a bath. ⚠ The rating is published in the description and in no structured field. ⭐ The colour setting is also a brightness decision: cool gives about 13% more light than warm from the same 10 W.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.
Above a mirror at a basin on a dry wall, yes — that is what it is designed for. Not inside a shower enclosure, not directly over a bath, and not where spray will reach it. It is IP40, and the second digit of an IP rating is the water one: zero means no protection against water at all, not even drips. Your electrician sets out the zones on site, and it is a question to ask before the wall is lined.
No — it is normal for a vanity light, and it is not a defect in the product. It simply decides where the fitting is allowed to go. What is worth flagging is where the figure lives: IP40 is published in the product description and appears in no structured field, so a specification sheet built from the fields alone would show no IP rating at all on a bathroom product.
A small DIP switch on the side end cap, set once at installation — not a wall control. Changing it later means getting to the fitting, so decide before the electrician leaves. The three settings are 3000K warm white, 4000K neutral and 5700K white.
Yes, and that is not obvious. 3000K gives 1040 lumens, 4000K gives 1110, and 5700K gives 1180 — so switching from warm to cool gains about 13% more light from the same 10W. The colour setting is a brightness decision as well as a colour one.
4000K, usually. It is warm enough not to feel clinical and neutral enough to judge skin tone and colour honestly, which is the actual job of a light above a mirror. 3000K is more flattering but less accurate; 5700K is the brightest and the least forgiving.
No — Domus states it is non-dimmable, and it is worth catching early. Wiring it to a dimmer will not give you a dimmer: at best nothing happens, at worst you get flicker or a shortened life. If a low evening setting matters in the room, that has to come from a second circuit rather than from this fitting.
It is 580mm long, which sits comfortably above a 600 to 900mm basin mirror. The 15W version is 860mm and the 20W is 1140mm, so the range steps up with the vanity. The chrome knuckles adjust, so it also works as a picture light where the angle matters.
