⭐ A curved bar is the one place a curved pendant is obviously right

• ⭐ Bars, banquettes and reception counters are frequently curved — ⭐ and a straight pendant over a curved counter is a visible compromise. ⚠ The lit line and the working surface diverge at the ends, so the two seats furthest out get less light and the geometry reads as a mismatch.
• ⭐ A curved fitting following the counter fixes both at once: ⭐ even light along the whole working surface, and a line that belongs to the room rather than fighting it.
• ⚠ Which makes the radius question urgent rather than academic here. ⭐ The fitting only follows the counter if the two radii are close — ⚠ and a curve that nearly matches is worse than a straight line, because a near-match reads as an error where a deliberate contrast reads as a choice.
• ⭐ So: measure the radius of your counter, tell us, and we will get the fitting's radius from Domus before you commit. ⭐ That is the single check that decides whether this works.

⭐ Black at 3000 K, and the finish for a bar

• ⭐ A black body against a dark ceiling disappears — ⭐ you see a warm curved line and no fitting, which is the effect a bar is usually reaching for.
• ⭐ CRI90 at 3000 K renders drinks and food correctly — ⚠ most commercial linear at this colour temperature publishes CRI80, where reds flatten.
• ⭐ Take OPAL. ⭐ Over a bar the fitting is seen close and side-on, and on a curve it is seen at a shallow angle along its own sweep from more positions than a straight one would — ⭐ which is exactly the angle a dense, uniform face handles best.
• ⚠ 4320 lm at full is service light. ⭐ Dimmed to roughly a fifth it becomes evening light. ⛔ The minimum level is not published.
