The Domus Maxi Curve is a 1.7 m suspended LED linear pendant — 34 W, 3400 lm, 4000 K at CRI90, dimmable, in a white body, in six finishes.

What does an installer need that a straight pendant does not?

Four things. The orientation — which way the arc faces. The suspension-point positions as coordinates rather than one dimension, because the two points are offset in both directions. The chord, so the fitting can be checked against the space. And a note that off-level reads as a twist rather than a tilt, which the eye catches faster.

Which of those costs the most time?

The orientation. An arc installed the wrong way round is not subtly wrong — it is mirrored, and on a fitting with two fixed suspension points it cannot be turned after the ceiling is closed. Putting it on the drawing explicitly is a five-second addition that avoids a genuinely expensive mistake.

Why do the points need coordinates?

Because on an arc they are offset from each other in both directions, not just along a line. An installer measuring one dimension from a wall has no way to place the second point. Neither the point spacing nor the radius is published on any listing, so both have to come from us before the ceiling is set out.

Is anything about it straightforward?

Everything electrical. 34W at 240V, load calculated as metres times 20, an integral dimmable driver, and a 3m suspension drop shortened on site — none of that is affected by the geometry. So the electrical design and the circuit work can proceed while the geometry is being confirmed, which means the job is not blocked.

What should go on the handover sheet?

That there is no lamp — this is an integrated LED, so when it fails the fitting is replaced. And on a curved fitting a replacement has to match not only the finish but the geometry, which makes a spare from the same batch worth more here than on a straight run. The 3-year warranty is replacement type, which is the right cover for a product with no serviceable lamp.

How much light does it give?

3400 lumens at 2000 lumens per metre, or 100 lumens per watt from 34W, at 4000K and CRI90. The 3000K version publishes 3060 lumens for the same power. Neither figure is affected by the geometry question.

Can I use it in a damp space?

No — IP20, dry interior only. For bathrooms, covered outdoor areas, commercial kitchens or unsealed bays, ask us about the Domus IMPACT range at IP66 and IK10.

Warranties

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.

Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.

Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.

Damaged or Missing Items

Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.

If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.

Returns

Change of Mind Returns

  • Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
  • The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Our Rights

We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.

Cancellations

Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
