The Domus Maxi Curve is a 1.7 m suspended LED linear pendant — 34 W, 3060 lm, 3000 K at CRI90, dimmable, in a white body, in six finishes.
Domus asks you to call and confirm it. ⭐ We will.
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| Is it dimmable? | ✅ Yes — an integral dimmable driver as standard |
| Can it take DALI? | ⭐ Yes, on request — ⚠ ordered, not retrofitted |
| Emergency function? | ⭐ Available on request |
| ⛔ How LOW does it dim? | ⛔ Not published — on any of the 89 linear listings |
⭐ A white body disappears into a plasterboard ceiling, ⭐ and CRI90 at 3000 K renders food correctly — ⚠ an unusual pairing, since warm sources often lose accuracy. ⭐ Take OPAL near eye level or FROSTED above head height; ⚠ prismatic and honeycomb are workplace optics.

White powder-coated aluminium body. Six finishes. 3-year replacement warranty. Order code MAXI-CURVE-1.7M-W-3K. ⭐ THREE OF FOUR DIMMING QUESTIONS ARE ANSWERED — dimmable as standard, DALI on request, emergency on request. ⛔ THE FOURTH IS NOT PUBLISHED ON ANY OF THE 89 LINEAR LISTINGS: how low it actually goes. ⚠ A fitting that stops at 20% is a different product from one that reaches 1%, and about a third of 3060 lm is dining light. ⭐ Tell us the dimmer, the fitting count and the level you want in the evening.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.
Yes — it ships with an integral dimmable driver as standard, which suits a domestic trailing-edge or leading-edge dimmer. DALI is available on request for a commercial control system, as is an emergency function, and both are ordered rather than retrofitted since they are built into the fitting.
Not published — on any of the 89 linear listings across the three ranges. That is the one dimming question that goes unanswered, and it is the one a domestic or hospitality buyer actually feels. A fitting that stops at 20% is a different product from one that reaches 1%: over a dining table 3060 lumens at full is task lighting and about a third of it is dining light, so if the driver's floor is above that the room never gets where you wanted it.
Yes, and it catches people out. 34W is a modest load for a mains dimmer, and many are rated for a minimum load well above a single LED fitting — which shows as flicker, a dead band at the bottom of the range, or the fitting refusing to strike at low settings. Two or three fittings on one circuit helps considerably.
The dimmer you plan to use, how many fittings will be on that circuit, and the level you want in the evening. We will confirm the minimum dim level and the compatibility with Domus before you order. It is a short conversation and it is much better had before the order than after the install.
Because warm light and accurate colour usually pull against each other — most commercial linear at 3000K publishes CRI80, where reds flatten. Over a table where food is looked at closely, CRI90 is the difference between a dish reading as fresh and not. It is an unusual pairing and one of the better reasons to choose this range.
Not in its specification block — it is one of six across the 88 linear listings that omit it, and four of those six are Curve fittings at this length. We can infer 1700mm of strip from 34W divided by 20 watts per metre, and the 3060 lumens at 1800 per metre corroborates it. What we cannot give you is the chord, which needs the radius.
Opal near eye level for the most uniform face, or frosted above head height for more output. Prismatic and honeycomb are workplace optics — they exist to control glare over screens — and both read technical in a home. Clear is undiffused and will glare over a seated table.
