The Domus Maxi Curve is a 1.7 m suspended LED linear pendant — 34 W, 3060 lm, 3000 K at CRI90, dimmable, in a black body, in six finishes.
Domus asks you to call and confirm it. ⭐ We will.
| Specification | Value |
|---|---|
| Light output | ⭐ 3060 lm — 1800 lm/m, 90 lm/W |
| Colour rendering | ⭐ CRI90 at 3000 K |
| Power | 34 W at 240 V — ⭐ exactly 20.0 W/m |
| ⛔ Length | ⛔ Not published — ⭐ 1700 mm of strip inferred from the wattage |
| Beam | 120°, down only |
| IP rating | IP20 — ⚠ dry interior only |
| Suspension | 3 m drop supplied |
| Light engine | PLEX-COB-20W strip, integral dimmable driver |
| Warranty | ⭐ 3 years, replacement |
⭐ The output figure is unaffected — ⭐ 3060 lm at 1800 lm per metre is exactly consistent with a 1.7 m strip, ⭐ which corroborates the inference.
⭐ A black body against a dark or exposed ceiling disappears, ⭐ and CRI90 at 3000 K renders food and drink correctly — ⚠ most commercial linear at this colour temperature publishes CRI80, where reds flatten. ⭐ Take OPAL near eye level or FROSTED above head height; ⚠ prismatic and honeycomb read technical in a hospitality room.
1.7 m suspended LED linear pendant. 3060 lm, 34 W (90 lm/W), 3000 K, CRI90. 120° down-only. IP20. 3 m drop. PLEX-COB-20W strip, integral dimmable driver, DALI and emergency on request. Black powder-coated aluminium body. Six finishes. 3-year replacement warranty. Order code MAXI-CURVE-1.7M-B-3K. ⛔ THIS LISTING PUBLISHES NO LENGTH AT ALL — one of 6 across the 88 linear listings, and 4 of those 6 are Curve 1.7m fittings. ⚠ On a curved product that compounds: where a length IS published on this range it is ambiguous between arc and chord, and here there is neither a figure nor a clarification. ⭐ We can infer 1700mm of strip from 34 W ÷ 20 W/m; ⭐ we cannot give you the chord without the radius.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.
Its specification block simply does not carry one, where most listings in the range do. We measured it: 6 of the 88 linear listings carrying an order code publish no length — 2 in the Maxi 50 and 4 in the Maxi Curve, and all 4 of those are at 1.7m. It is not a clean pattern by range or length, but this length is where they cluster.
Yes, it compounds. Where a length is published on this range it is already ambiguous — arc or chord — so a buyer has to ask which. Here there is neither a figure nor a clarification, so there is nothing to ask about: you are starting from the title alone.
1700mm of strip, inferred with confidence. Every Domus linear fitting runs the same 20.0 watt per metre engine, and 34W divided by 20 is exactly 1.7m — and the strip follows the fitting, so that is the arc length. The published 3060 lumens at 1800 lumens per metre is exactly consistent with a 1.7m strip, which corroborates it. What we cannot give you is the chord, the straight run it actually occupies, because that needs the radius.
Both the radius and the chord. One question to Domus gives you the second from the first, and it settles the setting-out. Everything else about the fitting is published and consistent — output, colour rendering, ingress rating, beam, drop, engine, dimming options and warranty — so it is a narrow gap rather than a thin record.
3060 lumens at 1800 lumens per metre, or 90 lumens per watt from 34W, at 3000K and CRI90. The output figure is unaffected by the length question, since the strip is the same either way. The 4000K version publishes 3400 lumens for the same power.
Because warm light and accurate colour usually pull against each other, and most commercial linear at 3000K publishes CRI80 where reds flatten. Over a bar or a table where food and drink are looked at, CRI90 is the difference between a dish reading as fresh and not.
Opal near eye level for the most uniform face, or frosted above head height for more output. Prismatic and honeycomb are workplace optics and read technical in a bar or restaurant, and clear is an undiffused source over seated guests.
