The Domus Maxi Curve is a 1.2 m suspended LED linear pendant — 24 W, 2160 lm, 3000 K at CRI90, dimmable, in a white body, in six finishes.

Does it need space around it?

If it is an arc, yes. An arc reads as an arc only when you can see its whole sweep — tight against a wall or in a corridor the curve is lost and you have bought geometry you cannot see. That is a judgement you can make about your space now, independently of the radius nobody publishes.

Can I use several together?

Hard to plan without knowing the geometry. One curved pendant in a room is a feature; several become a pattern that has to be resolved, and without knowing whether they form a continuous sweep or sit as independent segments there is no way to draw it. That is one of the questions we would ask Domus for you.

What if the curve is only in section?

Then all of the above falls away. A rounded diffuser face on a straight fitting suits exactly the spaces a straight pendant suits — a 1.8m table, an island, a desk — and the curve is a softening of the profile rather than a plan gesture. It would install and set out identically to the Maxi 50. Which is why the question is worth asking before you commit.

How much light does it give?

2160 lumens at 1800 lumens per metre, or 90 lumens per watt from 24W, at 3000K and CRI90. The 4000K version publishes 2400 lumens for the same power. Over a 1.8m table or island at the usual 750 to 800mm that is a comfortable working level and will want dimming for dining.

Which finish at home?

Opal near eye level for the most uniform face, or frosted above head height for more output. Prismatic and honeycomb are workplace optics — they exist to control glare over screens — and both read technical in a home. Clear is undiffused and will glare over a seated table.

Why white?

A white body disappears into a white or plasterboard ceiling, so the room sees the warm line rather than the fitting. In a home that is usually the point, particularly if the curve itself is meant to be the visible gesture — you want the shape read, not the tube.

Warranties

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.

Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.

Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.

Damaged or Missing Items

Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.

If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.

Returns

Change of Mind Returns

  • Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
  • The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.

Cancellations

Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
