The Domus Maxi 50 is a 2.4 m suspended LED linear pendant — 48 W, 4320 lm, 3000 K at CRI90, dimmable, in a white body, in six finishes.
Domus asks you to call and confirm it. ⭐ We will.
⭐ Warm light and accurate colour usually pull against each other — ⚠ most commercial linear at 3000 K publishes CRI80, where reds flatten. ⭐ Over a table where food is looked at closely, CRI90 is the difference between a dish that reads as fresh and one that does not.
| Specification | Value |
|---|---|
| Light output | ⭐ 4320 lm — 1800 lm/m, 90 lm/W |
| Colour rendering | ⭐ CRI90 at 3000 K |

| Beam | 120°, down only — ⭐ an even wash along the table |

| Dimming | Integral driver — ⛔ minimum level not published |
| Warranty | ⭐ 3 years, replacement |

⭐ At 4000 K the same fitting gives 4800 lm — ⚠ though 3000 K is the right choice over dining.
2.4 m suspended LED linear pendant. 4320 lm, 48 W (90 lm/W), 3000 K, CRI90. 120° down-only. IP20. 2400 mm. 3 m drop. PLEX-COB-20W strip, integral dimmable driver, DALI and emergency on request. White powder-coated aluminium body. Six finishes. 3-year replacement warranty. Order code MAXI-50-2.4M-W-3K. ⭐ OPAL IS WHY THIS RANGE BEATS THE MAXI 40 OVER A LONG TABLE — people at the end seats look ALONG the fitting, which is the angle that exposes unevenness in the diffuser face, and opal is the densest and most uniform of the six. ⛔ The Maxi 40 does not offer it. ⚠ 4320 lm at full is serving light; dimmed to roughly a fifth it suits a set table.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.
Because at this length eight to ten people are eating under one fitting, and every one should get the same light. One continuous line spreads 4320 lumens evenly at 120 degrees, so the seat at the end is lit like the seat in the middle. A row of small pendants puts a bright spot over some seats and a shadow between them, and the people in the gaps notice.
Because over a long table people at the end seats look along the fitting, and that shallow angle is exactly what exposes any unevenness in the diffuser face. Opal is the densest diffusion and the most uniform face of the six, so it holds up at the angle a long table creates. The Maxi 40 does not offer opal at all, which is the clearest reason to take this range over that one for a dining application.
At full output, yes — that is serving light rather than dining light. Dimmed to roughly a fifth it suits a set table. It ships with an integral dimmable driver and DALI is available on request, but the minimum level is not published, and over a dining table that is the figure that decides the evening. Tell us your control and we will confirm it.
Because warm light and accurate colour usually pull against each other, and most commercial linear at 3000K publishes CRI80 where reds flatten. Over a table where food is looked at closely, CRI90 is the difference between a dish that reads as fresh and one that does not — and it is the kind of thing guests notice without being able to name.
It suits a table of about 3.6m — roughly two-thirds the length, which lights the surface evenly without overhanging the ends. For a longer table, two pendants with a deliberate gap of half a fitting length or more read as a pair rather than a stretched single.
A white body disappears into a white or plasterboard ceiling, so the room sees the warm line rather than a 2.4m object. At this length that matters more than at shorter ones — a dark fitting on a light ceiling is a strong horizontal element, which is a deliberate design decision rather than a neutral one.
Two drop points at 2.4m, with a 3m suspension drop supplied and shortened on site. The spacing between those points and the weight are not published on any listing in the range, and both are settled before the ceiling closes — ask us for them with the lead time.
