2.4 m suspended LED linear pendant. 4800 lm, 48 W (100 lm/W), 4000 K, CRI90. IP20. 2400 mm. 3 m drop. PLEX-COB-20W strip, integral dimmable driver, DALI and emergency on request. Anodised aluminium body. Six finishes. 3-year replacement warranty. Order code MAXI-50-2.4M-A-4K. ⛔ THESE DO NOT JOIN INTO A CONTINUOUS LINE. A discrete pendant at a fixed length with its own suspension and supply — nothing in the range is a joiner, coupler or continuous-run kit. ⚠ A specification calling for a continuous 7.2m run cannot be met by three of these. ⭐ For a continuous line, ask about the Domus MAX profile range — and note that MAX-50 is NOT the Maxi 50.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.
No. This is a discrete pendant rather than a jointable profile system — sold as a complete fitting at a fixed length with its own suspension and supply — and nothing in the range is described as a joiner, an end feed, a coupler or a continuous-run kit. A specification calling for a continuous 7.2m run cannot be met by three of these: you would get three 2.4m pendants with visible gaps and three sets of drops. That is a design decision rather than a defect, but one to make before the drawing is issued.
Ask us about the Domus MAX profile range — a different product family sold as recessed, surface and suspended profiles, and the one designed for continuous runs. Note the confusingly similar name: the MAX-50 is not the Maxi 50. They are separate ranges with different SKU blocks and different wattages, and every MAX listing carries a datasheet where none of the 18 Maxi 50 listings does.
Deliberately, and check both the look and the light. Visually, half a fitting length or more reads as a rhythm while a small gap reads as a continuous run that failed to join — the uncomfortable case, because it looks like a mistake rather than a choice. Optically, the 120 degree beam spreads to roughly 3.5 times the mounting height, so at 1m above the plane each fitting covers about 3.5m and gaps up to about 1m keep the level even.
Drop height and finish. Keep the drops identical — a height variation across a row is more visible than a spacing variation. And use one finish per run, since Domus publishes one output figure per listing rather than one per finish, so a mismatch cannot be dimmed back into line.
Three things. Individual switching and dimming if you circuit them separately, so you can light half a room. A failure that affects one fitting rather than the whole line — which matters because this is an integrated LED with no lamp, and a spare from the same batch is a straight swap. And the freedom to set the rhythm to suit the furniture rather than the other way round.
Two suspension points per 2.4m fitting, so a run of three is six fixings into structure. The spacing is not published on any listing in the range, nor is the drop adjustment or the weight — ask us for all three before setting out, because they are settled before the ceiling closes.
48W per fitting at exactly 20.0 W/m, so a run of three is 144W and any mixed layout is total metres × 20. That rule holds across every length and both linear ranges, because they all run the same strip.
