What finishes does it come in?

Six — prismatic, frosted, honeycomb, opal, black and clear — where the Maxi 40 offers four. Honeycomb and opal are the additions, and the honeycomb is the significant one: it is a cellular baffle that blocks light above a cut-off angle, which is a genuine glare-control optic rather than another way of diffusing.

Why do two finishes have the same code?

"Opal" and "Black" both resolve to SKU 30499, and 30500 — the code the sequence requires — is absent. Two of the 18 Maxi 50 listings carry this fault. The one mercy is that opal and black are visibly unalike: opal is the most uniformly white finish offered and black is a dark tint, so a wrong delivery would be obvious rather than surviving unnoticed. How much light does it give?

2160 lumens at 1800 lumens per metre, or 90 lumens per watt from 24W, at 3000K and CRI90. The 4000K version of the same fitting publishes 2400 lumens for the same power — about 11% more if output matters more than warmth in your space.

How is the Maxi 50 different from the Maxi 40?

In shape rather than performance. Three lengths, three bodies and two colour temperatures give 18 combinations, and the Maxi 50 sells them as exactly 18 listings with no gaps, no merged pages and no title typos. The Maxi 40 needs 53 listings for 54 combinations because it splits the diffuser type — flat, high, low — into separate listings as well, an axis the Maxi 50 does not have.

Is CRI90 worth having?

It is high for a linear pendant of this kind and above the CRI 80 or better that most commercial linear lighting publishes. It matters wherever colour is judged — food, merchandise, materials, skin tone — and at 3000K it means warm light that still renders honestly, which is not the usual trade-off since warm sources often lose accuracy.

What suspension is supplied?

A 3m drop, which is generous and shortened on site, so a standard ceiling through to about a 4m volume is workable from the same fitting. The suspension-point spacing and the weight are not published on any listing in the range, and both are needed before the ceiling closes — ask us for them.

Can I use it in a damp space?

No — IP20, dry interior only. For bathrooms, covered outdoor areas, commercial kitchens or unsealed bays, ask us about the Domus IMPACT range at IP66 and IK10.

Warranties

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.

Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.

Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.

Damaged or Missing Items

Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.

If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.

Returns

Change of Mind Returns

  • Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
  • The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Cancellations

Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
