The Domus Maxi 40 is a 2.4 m suspended LED linear pendant — 48 W, 4800 lm, 4000 K at CRI90, dimmable, in a white body with a high diffuser.
Domus asks you to call and confirm it. ⭐ We will.
| Specification | Value |
|---|---|
| Light output | ⭐ 4800 lm — 100 lm/W |
| Colour rendering | ⭐ CRI90 at 4000 K |
| Power / length | 48 W at 240 V · 2400 mm |
| Beam | 120°, down only |
| IP rating | IP20 — ⚠ dry interior only |
| Suspension | 3 m drop — ⚠ two points |
| Dimming | ⭐ DALI and emergency on request |
| Warranty | ⭐ 3 years, replacement |
| ⛔ UGR · lifespan · spacing · weight | ⛔ Not published |
⚠ And do not draw this at Ø50 mm — ⭐ that figure comes from a low-diffuser listing, and a raised diffuser would be deeper. ⭐ The 2400 mm length is published and safe.
2.4 m suspended LED linear pendant. 4800 lm, 48 W (100 lm/W), 4000 K, CRI90. 120° down-only. IP20. 2400 mm. 3 m drop. PLEX-COB-20W strip, integral dimmable driver, DALI and emergency on request. White body, high diffuser. 3-year replacement warranty. Order code MAXI-40-2.4M-HD-W-4K. ⭐ IF GLARE IS THE DRIVER, ASK US ABOUT THE MAXI 50 — it offers a HONEYCOMB, which removes the shallow-angle component rather than redirecting or scattering it. ⭐⭐ AND SWITCHING COSTS NOTHING: the Maxi 50 publishes the SAME 4800 lm, CRI90, IP20, beam, drop, engine and warranty at this length. ⭐ Only the finish list and the diffuser-type axis differ.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.
Possibly not, and there is a clean alternative. No Domus linear listing publishes a UGR figure, so if your specification names a limit neither range answers it on paper. But the Maxi 50 offers a honeycomb finish and the Maxi 40 does not — a cellular baffle that blocks light above a cut-off angle, removing the shallow-angle component that reflects in a monitor, where the finishes here only redirect or scatter it.
Nothing in performance. We compared the two against the supplier's own specification: at 2.4m and 4000K the Maxi 50 publishes the same 4800 lumens, the same CRI90, the same IP20, the same 120 degree beam, the same 3m drop, the same engine and the same warranty. Only the finish list and the diffuser-type axis differ. So a sized circuit and a calculated layout hold either way — it is a clean substitution rather than a compromise.
When glare is not the driver — over a table, a counter, a corridor or a reception desk. When you want the flat, high or low profile option, which the Maxi 50 does not offer, though its published output is identical across all three so that is an appearance and mounting-depth choice. And when the fitting should read as a clean lit line, since a honeycomb is a visible texture that looks technical.
Prismatic. It redirects shallow-angle light back towards the vertical rather than absorbing it, so you keep the output — the efficient answer where a honeycomb is the thorough one. Frosted scatters that light but still emits it, and clear should not be used over screens at all.
No. That figure comes from 30280, a low-diffuser listing, and it is the only listing of 53 publishing a diameter. If "high" means a raised diffuser — the convention in linear profiles — the overall depth would be greater. The 2400mm length is published on every listing and is safe to draw; the depth is not.
No. Flat, high and low all publish 4800 lumens at this length and colour temperature, and the same 120 degree beam. So the type is an appearance and mounting-depth choice rather than a performance one, which makes the decision easier than it looks.
No — IP20, dry interior only. For bathrooms, covered outdoor areas, commercial kitchens or unsealed bays, ask us about the Domus IMPACT range at IP66 and IK10.
