The Domus Maxi 40 is a 2.4 m suspended LED linear pendant — 48 W, 4320 lm, 3000 K at CRI90, dimmable, in a black body with a high diffuser.
Domus asks you to call and confirm it. ⭐ We will.
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| How long is it? | ✅ 2400 mm |
| How much suspension is supplied? | ✅ 3 m — ⭐ shortened on site |
| Will that reach my ceiling? | ✅ Up to about 4 m at a working height |
| How many suspension points? | ⚠ Two at this length — ⭐ by convention |
| ⛔ What SPACING between them? | ⛔ Not published |
| ⛔ What does it WEIGH? | ⛔ Not published |
⭐ A tube held at two points hangs level and stays level. ⚠ A single-point pendant rotates and drifts, ⭐ and on a 2.4 m line beside a wall or a table edge that drift is visible from the far end of the room. ⭐ The round profile helps too — ⭐ on the low-diffuser sibling Domus publishes Ø50 mm, so there is no flat face to align and a small rotation is invisible. ⚠ Whether this high-diffuser version shares that section is not published.

SKUs 30345–30348. 240 V. ⭐ FOUR OF THE SIX MOUNTING QUESTIONS ARE ANSWERED — length, supplied drop, ceiling reach and the number of points. ⛔ THE TWO THAT ARE NOT ARE SPECIFIC: the spacing between the two points, and the weight. ⭐ Which makes them a short question rather than an open-ended one. ⭐ Ask us for both with the lead time.

Six things, and four are answered. It is 2400mm long, a 3m suspension drop is supplied and shortened on site, that reaches ceilings up to about 4m at a working height, and a 2.4m tube takes two suspension points by convention. The two that are not published are the spacing between those points and the weight — which makes them a short, specific question rather than an open-ended one.
Because it is two fixings into structure, set out before the ceiling closes, and moving one afterwards is a repair rather than an adjustment. On a plasterboard ceiling the positions also have to coincide with joists or noggins, so they need to be known while the framing is still accessible. Ask us for the figure with the lead time.
It decides whether the fixing goes into a joist, a noggin or a proprietary plasterboard anchor. Absent from the drawing, that becomes a decision made on site — usually conservatively, occasionally not. A 2.4m aluminium tube with a diffuser and two drops is not heavy in absolute terms, but "not heavy" is not a number an installer can design a fixing around.
No — an advantage. A tube held at two points hangs level and stays level, where a single-point pendant rotates and drifts, and on a 2.4m line beside a wall or a table edge that drift is visible from the far end of the room. The round profile helps too: Domus publishes Ø50mm on the low-diffuser sibling, so there is no flat face to align and a small rotation is invisible.
Not confirmed. Ø50mm is published on 30280, the low-diffuser sibling at this length, and if the flush/raised/recessed convention holds a high diffuser would sit proud of that. The 2400mm length is published on every listing and is safe to draw; the depth is not. Ask us before it goes on a drawing.
4320 lumens at 1800 lumens per metre, or 90 lumens per watt from 48W, at 3000K and CRI90. The 4000K version of the same fitting gives 4800 lumens for the same power. Over a 3.6m table or bar that is a comfortable level and will want dimming.
No — IP20, dry interior only. For bathrooms, covered outdoor areas, commercial kitchens or unsealed bays, ask us about the Domus IMPACT range at IP66 and IK10.
