The Domus Maxi 40 is a 2.4 m suspended LED linear pendant — 48 W, 4320 lm, 3000 K at CRI90, dimmable, in an aluminium body with a high diffuser.

⛔ Two of its four finishes share one product code

Would I notice if the wrong one arrived?

Probably not immediately. Prismatic and frosted are the two hardest finishes to tell apart on delivery — both present as a diffused face — but they do different optical jobs, since prismatic redirects shallow-angle light downward where frosted only scatters it. So the error surfaces later as glare rather than as an obviously wrong product.

How big is it?

2400mm long is safe to take. This listing publishes a length but not a diameter; its direct sibling 30280 — same 2.4m, same aluminium body, same 3000K, low diffuser instead of high — is the only listing of 53 that publishes a profile diameter, recording 2400mm and Ø50mm. What do I need for suspension?

Two drop points at 2.4m, and a 3m suspension drop is supplied and shortened on site. The spacing between those points and the weight are not published on any listing in the range, and both are settled before the ceiling closes — ask us for them with the lead time and the profile depth, since it is all one enquiry.

Can I use it in a damp space?

No — IP20, dry interior only. For bathrooms, covered outdoor areas, commercial kitchens or unsealed bays, ask us about the Domus IMPACT range at IP66 and IK10.

Warranties

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.

Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.

Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.

Damaged or Missing Items

Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.

If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.

Returns

Change of Mind Returns

  • Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
  • The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.
