Domus asks you to call and confirm it — ⚠ and an institutional programme with a handover date should settle that at the start. ⭐ We will.

1.7 m suspended LED linear pendant. 3400 lm, 34 W (100 lm/W), 4000 K, CRI90. 120° down-only. IP20. 1700 mm. 3 m drop. PLEX-COB-20W strip, integral dimmable driver, DALI and emergency on request. SKUs 30275–30278. 240 V. ⭐ SEVEN OF THE NINE USUAL CLAUSES ARE SUPPORTED — illuminance, colour temperature, CRI90, IP rating, connected load, emergency and DALI. ⭐ CRI90 EXCEEDS the CRI80 floor most clinical specifications set. ⛔ The two gaps are a UGR glare figure and the rated lifespan, and UGR is the one most likely to be named explicitly. ⭐ Ask us for both before submission.

For most of the specification, yes. Seven of the nine clauses these projects usually name are supported: maintained illuminance from the published 3400 lumens, colour temperature at 4000K, colour rendering at CRI90, ingress protection at IP20, connected load, emergency lighting on request and DALI control on request. The two gaps are a UGR glare figure and the rated lifespan.
It exceeds the usual requirement. Clinical and educational specifications commonly set CRI80 as the minimum, and skin-tone assessment benefits from more than that — so CRI90 clears the bar comfortably rather than just meeting it. Most commercial linear lighting settles for CRI 80 or better, including the Domus MAX-50 profile range, so this is a genuine advantage in a clinical setting.
That is the gap that can actually block a submission. UGR is not published on any Domus linear listing, and it matters in a ward or a classroom because people look up — a patient on their back, a child at a whiteboard. If your specification names a UGR limit, ask us before submission; it is one enquiry to Domus, and the other seven clauses are already in hand.
Specify the prismatic finish. It refracts shallow-angle light back towards the vertical rather than scattering it, which is the component that reaches an upward-facing eye. Do not use clear anywhere people look up. And note that the diffuser type is not the lever — flat, high and low all publish 3400 lumens and the same 120 degree beam, so the type is an appearance and mounting-depth choice while the finish is what changes the optics.
Wards, classrooms, consulting rooms, corridors, libraries and offices are all dry interiors and are fine. Ensuite bathrooms, sluice rooms, hydrotherapy areas and covered walkways are not. For those, ask us about the Domus IMPACT range, which is IP66 and IK10 and publishes both figures.
Not published for this range, which is the second gap. On an institutional project that matters for the maintenance schedule rather than the specification itself. The Domus MAX-50 profile range publishes 50,000 hours as a comparable, but we will not assume the Maxi 40 matches it — ask us and we will get the figure.
That is the point of it — with the emergency option the pendant forms part of the escape-lighting provision instead of needing a separate luminaire alongside. It is ordered with the fitting rather than added later, and what is not published is the duration or whether it is maintained or non-maintained. On a compliance job both are specification items; ask us and we will get them in writing.
