The Domus Maxi 40 is a 1.7 m suspended LED linear pendant — 34 W, 3060 lm, 3000 K at CRI90, dimmable, in a white body with a high diffuser.
Domus asks you to call and confirm it. ⭐ We will.
⭐ Flat, high and low all publish 3060 lm and a 120° beam at this length and colour temperature, ⭐ so whatever the type changes, it is not the light. ⭐ The convention in linear profiles is flush, raised or recessed — ⚠ stated as convention. ⭐ Ask us for the profile drawings if it matters visually.

1.7 m suspended LED linear pendant. 3060 lm, 34 W, 3000 K, CRI90. 120° down-only. IP20. 1700 mm. 3 m drop. PLEX-COB-20W strip, integral dimmable driver, DALI and emergency on request. White body, high diffuser. 3-year replacement warranty. Order code MAXI-40-1.7M-HD-W-3K. SKUs 30260–30263. 240 V. ⚠ IF YOU SEARCHED FOR A HIGH DIFFUSER YOU ARE SEEING TWO BODIES OUT OF THREE — the aluminium listings are spelt "Hight" and cannot be found (order codes MAXI-40-1.7M-HD-A-3K and -4K). ⭐ But you lose nothing in light by taking this one: the aluminium 3000 K high publishes exactly the same 3060 lm, CRI90 and 120° beam. ⭐ The only difference is the body colour.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.
Because the two aluminium high-diffuser listings at 1.7m are spelt "Hight Diffuser" in the title and the web address, so a search returns the black and white versions and misses them, and a typed link 404s. They exist — order codes MAXI-40-1.7M-HD-A-3K and -4K. Only 2 listings of 843 carry the typo and both are that pair.
Not in light. The aluminium 3000K high-diffuser listing publishes exactly the same 3060 lumens, the same CRI90 and the same 120 degree beam. The only difference is the body colour. So the choice between them is about the ceiling — white recedes into plasterboard, aluminium suits timber and concrete — rather than about performance.
Not the light. Flat, high and low all publish 3060 lumens and a 120 degree beam at this length and colour temperature, so whatever the type changes, it is not the output. The convention in linear profiles is that the terms describe how the diffuser sits in the extrusion — flush, raised or recessed — which we offer as a convention rather than a stated fact. Ask us for the profile drawings if it matters visually.
3060 lumens at 90 lumens per watt from 34W, at 3000K and CRI90. Over a 2.5m dining table or a medium island that is task lighting at full output, and dimmed to about a third it becomes dining light. At 4000K the same fitting gives 3400 lumens.
Against a white plasterboard or grid ceiling a white body recedes, so what the room sees is the lit line rather than the fitting — which in a home or a hospitality interior is usually the point. Aluminium on the same ceiling reads as a visible grey line, and black becomes a deliberate graphic statement.
It is high for a linear pendant of this kind, above the CRI 80 or better that most commercial linear lighting publishes including the Domus MAX-50 profile range. Over food and materials it means colours read correctly, and at 3000K it means warm light that still renders honestly — which is not the usual trade-off.
No — IP20, dry interior only. For bathrooms, covered outdoor areas, commercial kitchens or unsealed bays, ask us about the Domus IMPACT range at IP66 and IK10.
