The fitting is replaced. It is an integrated LED, so there is no lamp to change and no serviceable driver access — and that is why the warranty type matters as much as the term. Domus publishes three years of the replacement type, which is the right cover for a product like this; a repair warranty would be close to meaningless.

Is three years good?

It sits with the larger of the two common tiers in this catalogue. Measured across the Domus range, 217 products record one year, 188 record three and only 28 record five. So three years is the better of the two terms most products carry rather than the minimum.

Are there conditions on the warranty?

Presumably, and they are not published. Every Domus warranty carries an asterisk — 453 of the 453 that record one — with no conditions stated anywhere in the product data. That is a house convention rather than a flag on this product, but a qualified term whose qualification is not stated is not one you can put in a specification. Ask us for them in writing.

How long should it last?

On a run of eight or more, we would. A replacement is made to order with no published lead time, a later powder-coat batch is not guaranteed to match, and there is no guarantee the model is still made in four years. One extra fitting from the same batch, held on a shelf, removes all three at once.

How much light does it give?

3060 lumens at 90 lumens per watt from 34W, at 3000K and CRI90. The 4000K version publishes 3400 lumens for the same power. Over a 2.5m bar or table that is a comfortable level, and it will want dimming for evening use.

Can I use it in a damp space?

No — IP20, dry interior only. For bathrooms, covered outdoor areas, commercial kitchens or unsealed bays, ask us about the Domus IMPACT range at IP66 and IK10.

Warranties

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.

Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.

Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.

Damaged or Missing Items

Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.

If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.

Returns

Change of Mind Returns

  • Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
  • The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Cancellations

Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
