The Domus Maxi 40 is a 1.7 m suspended LED linear pendant — 34 W, 3400 lm, 4000 K at CRI90, dimmable, in an aluminium body with a low diffuser.
Domus asks you to call and confirm it. ⭐ We will.

1.7 m suspended LED linear pendant. 3400 lm, 34 W (100 lm/W), 4000 K, CRI90. 120° down-only. IP20. 1700 mm. 3 m drop. PLEX-COB-20W strip, integral dimmable driver, DALI and emergency on request. Anodised aluminium body, low diffuser. 3-year replacement warranty. Order code MAXI-40-1.7M-LD-A-4K. SKUs 30205–30208. 240 V. ⭐ BOTH HALVES ARE NOW CALCULABLE — twelve fittings is 408 W and 40,800 lm, roughly 320 lux over 200 m² at ordinary factors, and about 1,020 kWh a year at 10 hours × 250 days. ⭐ At 100 lm/W with CRI90 the efficiency and colour quality are a reasonable balance rather than a compromise in either direction.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.
Twelve fittings is 408W connected, which at 10 hours a day over 250 days is roughly 1,020 kWh a year. Six is about 510 kWh and twenty-four about 2,040. Both the load and the output are calculable now — the load from 20.0 watts per metre and the output from the published 3400 lumens — so a scheme can be checked rather than guessed.
Roughly twelve over a 200 square metre floor gives about 320 lux at ordinary utilisation and maintenance factors, which is a general-office level. That is a starting count rather than a design: a dark room with low-reflectance surfaces will need more, and ceiling height matters because output falls off with the square of the mounting distance. Tell us the room and we will do it properly.
For a CRI90 fitting, yes. Higher-CRI phosphors usually cost efficiency, so getting CRI90 and 100 lumens per watt together is a reasonable balance rather than a compromise in either direction. A CRI80 fitting of the same wattage would typically out-lumen it, and would render colour noticeably less faithfully.
No — dimming changes the running cost, not the connected load. A floor held at 70% draws roughly 70% of the energy, which is a real saving over a year, but the circuit still has to carry the full 408W because every fitting can go to full output. Size the circuit on the total and budget the energy on the expected level.
No. These are made to order with no published lead time, so a second order starts its own unknown clock, and a powder-coated body from a later batch is not guaranteed to match. Fix the finish across the run too — prismatic and frosted do not pass the same amount of light, so a mixed run is visibly uneven. And add a spare on eight or more, since this is an integrated LED with no lamp and the rated lifespan is not published.
3060 lumens, against 3400 at 4000K, for the same 34W. So the cooler version is about 11% more efficient — ordinary LED behaviour, but useful here because both figures are published so the trade is quantified rather than assumed.
No — IP20, dry interior only. For bathrooms, covered outdoor areas, commercial kitchens or unsealed bays, ask us about the Domus IMPACT range at IP66 and IK10.
