⭐ What 2160 lumens actually gives you

• ⭐ Over a 1.8 m dining table or island, one of these is comfortable general light. ⭐ Suspended at the usual 750–800 mm above the surface, 2160 lm from a 1.2 m line puts a useful working level across the whole top without the hot centre a single round pendant gives.
• ⭐ For a task-lit kitchen island you would normally want more. ⭐ Two of these along a 2.4 m island is 4320 lm, ⭐ which is a generous working level — ⚠ or step up to the 1.7 m version at 3060 lm.
• ⭐ Over a single desk it is ample and will want dimming.
• ⚠ These are proportions, not a lighting design. ⭐ A real lux calculation needs the room's surfaces and the mounting height — ⭐ tell us the space and we will do it. ⭐ What matters is that the calculation is now possible: the output figure exists.

⭐ CRI90 is the specification worth noticing

• ⭐ CRI90 is high for a linear pendant of this kind — ⭐ above the CRI ≥80 that the Domus MAX-50 profile range publishes, and above the ≥80 that most commercial linear lighting settles for.
• ⭐ It matters wherever colour is judged: ⭐ food on a kitchen island, merchandise in a shop, materials on a studio bench, skin tone in a consulting room.
• ⭐ At 3000 K with CRI90 you get warm light that still renders honestly — ⚠ which is not the usual trade-off; warm sources often lose colour accuracy.
• ⭐ So this is a fitting you can put over food and finishes without apology.

⚠ IP20 — a real exclusion

IP20 means dry interior only. ⚠ Not a bathroom, not a covered outdoor area, not a washdown space, not an unsealed warehouse bay. ⭐ For any of those, ask us for the Domus IMPACT range, which is IP66 and IK10.
