The Domus MAX-75 Down Suspension Pendant is a suspended aluminium profile luminaire sold by the metre — 17.3 W per metre from a 75 mm-wide aperture, with Osram LED boards, 3000 K, 4000 K or tunable white, and DALI and 0–10 V options. 3-year warranty.
Up to 10 business days for production before it ships.

Suspended LED profile pendant, sold per metre. 17.3 W/m. 2,466 lm/m (3000 K), 2,600 lm/m (4000 K). 3000 K, 4000 K or tunable white. Plain, DALI or 0–10 V. CRI ≥80. 120°. IP20. Profile 75 × 95 mm, extruded 6063 aluminium. Flat opal-frost PMMA diffuser. Osram LED boards. 50,000 hrs. ✅ 3-year warranty. ⛔ Made to order — allow up to 10 business days. ⭐ THE MAX-75 IS NOT BRIGHTER THAN THE MAX-50 — same power, same output, from a 50% wider aperture, so about a third less surface brightness. It is the LOW-GLARE choice, which is what a pendant over a table needs. ⚠ It is also 50% wider and 27% deeper as an object. ⛔ Recorded as not dimmable while selling DALI, 0-10V and tunable variants.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.
No — and this is the thing nothing in the catalogue tells you. They draw the same 17.3W per metre and give the same 2,466 lumens per metre. The difference is the aperture: 75mm wide against 50mm. The same light spread over 50% more emitting area is roughly a third less surface brightness. So the MAX-75 is not the brighter product, it is the gentler one, and that is the whole reason to choose it. A buyer comparing the two would reasonably assume the opposite.
On a suspended pendant more than anywhere else, because the diffuser sits at or near eye level for anyone sitting under it. Over a boardroom or dining table, a lower-luminance line is the difference between a comfortable room and one where people squint at the person opposite. Take the MAX-75 where people sit beneath it and look across; take the MAX-50 where the fitting is high, sight lines matter, or the run has to look slim.
Noticeably. The profile is 75mm wide × 95mm high against the MAX-50's 50 × 75mm — 50% wider and 27% deeper. On a long run in a large room that reads as deliberate; in a small room or under a low ceiling it can dominate. One caveat: two other MAX-75 datasheets in this range state the profile as 75 × 75mm while their records say 95mm high. This listing's sheet and record agree at 95mm, but if the exact section matters, ask us to confirm.
On the DALI or 0–10V variants, yes. The listing records dimmable as No because a single yes/no field cannot express a variant axis — nine MAX profile listings are in the same position, so filtering a catalogue on dimmable hides all of them. On a low-glare pendant over a table, dimming is the natural companion: the wide aperture handles glare at full output and dimming handles the evening. Choose the control before the finish, because retro-fitting DALI means replacing the luminaire.
Over a table, 750 to 900mm above the surface is the usual range — and with a MAX-75 you can go a little lower than with a MAX-50, because the lower surface brightness is more forgiving in the eye line. That is worth having on a low ceiling, where a slim high-luminance line at 900mm can be more uncomfortable than a wide low-luminance one at 800mm.
Colour temperature shifted from the control system rather than fixed at 3000K or 4000K for the life of the fitting — warm in the evening, neutral during the day. It is DALI only, so a 0–10V system cannot have it, and it appears in no product field at all. Over a boardroom table it pairs naturally with the low-glare aperture: a comfortable fitting that also suits the time of day.
On a long run, more than anywhere else. A 6-metre pendant is several boards end to end, and any colour variation between them shows as banding along the diffuser — the commonest visible fault in linear lighting, and more visible on a wide aperture than a narrow one because there is more diffuser to see it on. A specified engine makes that less likely and makes a replacement years later more likely to match.
