⭐ The up-light is a full second board, not a token uplift

• ⭐ Both figures double exactly, which is worth saying: the upward half is a full board at full output, not a decorative uplift.
• ⭐ Which changes what it does to a room. An equal up-component washes the ceiling, and a lit ceiling is what stops a suspended pendant reading as a bright object in a dark plane — ⭐ it is the difference between a room that feels lit and a table that feels spotlit.
• ⚠ It needs a ceiling worth lighting. ⭐ Against a white plasterboard soffit it transforms the space; against exposed dark services or a high void it lights nothing and doubles your energy.
• ⭐ So the honest test: look up. ⚠ If there is a clean surface within about 1.5 m, take the two-way. If not, the down-only version does the same job for half the power.

⚠ It is 15 mm deeper than every other MAX-50

• 90 mm high against 75 mm — ⭐ the only MAX-50 with a different section. Width stays 50 mm.
• ⚠ Fifteen millimetres is small until it is not. On a suspended pendant it matters for sight lines across a table and for the visual weight of a long run; ⭐ and if you are matching a two-way run to a down-only run in the same space, they will not sit flush.
• ⭐ Check it before mixing types in one room.

⛔ It records "not dimmable" — and sells DALI, 0-10 V and tunable white

• ⛔ 21 variants including 3000 K/DALI, 4000 K/DALI, 3000 K/0-10V, 4000 K/0-10V and TUNABLE/DALI — on a listing recording dimmable = No.
• ⭐ The base product is non-dimmable and control is a variant choice; ⚠ a single yes/no field cannot say that, ⛔ so filtering on dimmable hides all 9 MAX profile listings.
• ⭐ On a two-way fitting dimming earns its keep twice over: ⭐ the up-light is what you want to take down first in the evening, and on DALI the two halves are still one addressable luminaire rather than separately controllable.
• ⚠ If you want the up and down halves controlled separately, tell us — ⛔ nothing in the record says whether that is possible.
• ⭐ TUNABLE/DALI shifts colour temperature from the controller — ⚠ DALI only, and in no product field.

• CRI ≥80. 120°. 50,000 hrs. IP20 — indoor and dry. Osram LED boards.
• ⭐ About 150 lm/W on each board — ⭐ high for this catalogue.
• ⚠ Over a table, 750–900 mm above the surface; ⭐ but a two-way pendant benefits from a little more height, because the up-light needs room to spread before it reaches the ceiling.
• ⭐ On request: high-output LED boards and integrated emergency. ⛔ Neither is a variant.
