Up to 10 business days for production before it ships — ⭐ which is what lets it be cut to your run and finished in your colour.

Suspended up/down LED profile pendant, sold per metre. 34.6 W/m. 2 × 2,466 lm/m (3000 K), 2 × 2,600 lm/m (4000 K). 3000 K, 4000 K or tunable white. Plain, DALI or 0–10 V. CRI ≥80. 120°. IP20. Profile 50 × 90 mm, extruded 6063 aluminium. Flat opal-frost PMMA diffuser. Osram LED boards. 50,000 hrs. ✅ 3-year warranty. ⛔ Made to order — allow up to 10 business days. ⭐ Power and output BOTH double exactly against the down-only version: the up-light is a full second board. ⚠ It needs a ceiling worth lighting — under dark exposed services it doubles your energy for nothing. ⚠ 90 mm deep against every other MAX-50's 75mm. ⛔ Recorded as not dimmable while selling DALI, 0-10V and tunable variants.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.
A full second board at full output. The power doubles exactly — 34.6W per metre against the down-only 17.3 — and so does the output, at 2 × 2,466 lumens per metre. Both figures doubling exactly is what tells you it is a genuine second engine. That changes what it does to a room: an equal up-component washes the ceiling, and a lit ceiling is what stops a suspended pendant reading as a bright object in a dark plane. It is the difference between a room that feels lit and a table that feels spotlit.
When there is no ceiling worth lighting. Against a clean white plasterboard soffit it transforms the space; under exposed dark services, a high void or a dark-painted ceiling it lights nothing and doubles your energy. The honest test is to look up: if there is a clean surface within about 1.5m of the fitting, take the two-way. If not, the down-only version does the same job on the table for half the power.
No — it is 90mm high against 75mm, the only MAX-50 with a different section, though the width stays at 50mm. Fifteen millimetres is small until it is not: on a suspended pendant it matters for sight lines across a table and for the visual weight of a long run, and if you are matching a two-way run to a down-only run in the same space they will not align. Check it before mixing types in one room.
On the DALI or 0–10V variants, yes — and on a two-way fitting dimming earns its keep twice over, because the up-light is usually what you want to take down first in the evening. The listing records dimmable as No regardless, because a single yes/no field cannot express a variant axis; nine MAX profile listings are in the same position. One thing the record does not say is whether the up and down halves can be controlled separately — on DALI they may be one addressable luminaire rather than two. Tell us if that matters and we will ask Domus.
Colour temperature shifted from the control system rather than fixed at 3000K or 4000K for the life of the fitting — warm in the evening, neutral during the day. On a two-way pendant that is particularly effective, because the ceiling wash carries the colour of the room more than the downward light does. It is DALI only, so a 0–10V system cannot have it, and it appears in no product field at all.
Over a table, 750 to 900mm above the surface is the usual range — but a two-way pendant benefits from a little more height than a down-only one, because the up-light needs room to spread before it reaches the ceiling. Hung too close to the soffit, the ceiling wash becomes a bright stripe rather than an even glow. Tell us the ceiling height and we will suggest a drop.
Not as a variant, but the datasheet lists integrated emergency and high-output LED boards as available on request. On a commercial job that conversation is worth having at quotation stage, because retrofitting emergency into a suspended linear run afterwards means installing a second product alongside it — visible, awkward, and more expensive than specifying it once.
