LRF-T30 Retro Vintage Filament Amber Globe

The Domus LRF-T30 is a 2.3 W LED filament globe in the slim T30 “banana” tube shape, 1800 K amber, dimmable, on either a B22 bayonet or E27 screw base.

This is a decorative globe, and the numbers say so plainly

• 65 lumens. That is roughly a candle-lit level. ⛔ It will not light a room, and it is not trying to.
• 1800 K — deep amber, warmer than a halogen (2700 K) and far warmer than the 3000 K “warm white” most fittings use. The colour of a filament running low.
• ✅ The point is looking at it, not reading by it. Exposed in a clear-glass pendant, over a bar or a dining table, in a wall bracket, in a table lamp with a visible globe.
• 360° — it glows in every direction, which is what a bare decorative globe must do.

The shape

Ø30 mm and 180–185 mm long — a narrow tube rather than a bulb.

• ✅ It suits narrow fittings: slim glass cylinders, wall brackets with a tight shade, cluster pendants where a round globe would collide with its neighbour.
• ✅ In a multi-pendant run the vertical line reads as a deliberate detail where a sphere reads as a bulb.
• ⚠ It is long. Check the fitting's internal height — 185 mm plus the holder is more than many enclosed shades allow.

Dimming — and how to use it

Dimmable, and worth dimming: at 65 lm the globe is already low, so a dimmer takes it into genuinely candle-like territory.

• ⚠ 2.3 W is a very small load. Trailing-edge dimmers have a minimum load, and a single globe of this size will often fall below it — which looks like flicker or a dimmer that does nothing over the bottom half of its travel.
• ✅ A cluster of five or six on one circuit usually behaves. A single globe on a dimmer often does not. Tell us the count and the dimmer and we will say.

⚠ Two things this globe does differently from the rest of the catalogue

• 15,000 hours, not 50,000. Filament LEDs run their tiny chips hard inside a sealed glass envelope. At three hours a night that is still around thirteen years — but it is a third of what an ordinary LED gives.
• A two-year warranty, where most of this catalogue is three and the GT range is one. Three different terms in one catalogue, so it is worth reading rather than assuming.
