The Domus LF-A60 is an 8.6 W LED filament globe in the standard A60 household shape — 1,055 lumens, in clear or frosted glass, E27 or B22, and 2700 K or 6500 K. Dimmable.
✅ 1,055 lumens from 8.6 watts — 123 lm/W, and the most efficient globe in this catalogue. For comparison, the decorative G95 and ST64 filaments manage around 100 lm/W, and a 75 W incandescent gave about 15.
It is also brighter than either: 1,055 lm against their 750–800. If you want a filament globe that is genuinely doing the lighting rather than just being looked at, this is the one.
A60 is the ordinary household globe shape: Ø60 mm × 102 mm. That makes it the drop-in filament option:
All the filament globes here share a 15,000-hour life — normal for the type, since the filaments sit in a glass envelope with nowhere for heat to escape, and the shortest in this catalogue.
⚠ This globe is the one most likely to be used as real lighting rather than decoration, which means it is also the one most likely to be run for long hours. If it is going somewhere that runs all evening every evening, budget for replacement — and put it somewhere reachable.
E27 is the Edison screw common on modern fittings; B22 is the push-and-twist bayonet still found across older Australian homes. ⚠ Not interchangeable — check the fitting, not the old globe.
Fully dimmable with a suitable dimmer. ⚠ Dimmable LED globes are fussy about dimmers — tell us which one you have and we will confirm the pairing.
CRI ≥80, 360° emission, IP20 — indoor and dry only, 240 V. Warranty 3 years. ⚠ Our record holds 7.8 W and 8.5 W; the datasheet says 8.6 W, which is what we have published.
A60 GLS shape, Ø60 mm × 102 mm, in clear or frosted glass. 8.6 W LED filament (our record holds 7.8 W and 8.5 W) giving 1,055 lm at both 2700 K and 6500 K — 123 lm/W. CRI ≥80, 360° emission, fully dimmable with a suitable dimmer. E27 or B22. ⚠ 15,000 hours. 240 V, IP20 — indoor and dry only. Warranty 3 years.

It is brighter and more efficient. 1,055 lumens from 8.6 watts is 123 lumens per watt — the most efficient globe in this catalogue — against 750 to 800 lumens and about 100 lm/W for the decorative G95 and ST64. If you want a filament globe that is genuinely doing the lighting rather than just being looked at, this is the one.
Yes — A60 is the ordinary household shape, Ø60 by 102 mm, so it goes inside shades, close-fitting pendants, table lamps and ceiling oysters. The decorative G95 at Ø95 mm and the ST64 at 138 mm long will not.
Here the choice is practical as well as visual. Clear shows the filaments, which is right in an open fitting or a clear pendant — but inside a table lamp with a translucent shade it can show as bright stripes through the fabric. Frosted diffuses, giving even light with no hot spots or filament shadows on the shade, and it is the better choice inside any enclosed fitting. Both give the same 1,055 lumens.
All the filament globes here share it — the filaments sit in a glass envelope with nowhere for heat to escape, and heat is what ends an LED’s life. About thirteen years at three hours a day, or three in a café or hallway running twelve. This is the globe most likely to be used as real lighting rather than decoration, so it is also the one most likely to run long hours: if that is your case, budget for replacement and put it somewhere reachable.
2700 K for almost every use — it is the colour that makes a filament look right. 6500 K is a cold daylight white and an unusual pairing with a visible filament: it suits a workshop, garage or laundry, and in a domestic pendant or lamp it will look wrong. Unusually, both give 1,055 lumens, so there is no brightness penalty either way.
Yes, fully, with a suitable dimmer. Dimmable LED globes are fussy about dimmers, so tell us which one you have and we will confirm the pairing.
8.6 W per the datasheet. Our own record holds two values, 7.8 W and 8.5 W, and neither matches — the same shape of error appears on all three filament globes we have checked, so we have published the manufacturer’s figure.
