This Domus lamp is a 4.2 W clear LED filament fancy round — G45 shape, B22 bayonet, dimmable, in 2700 K or 6500 K.
| G45 fancy round (this one) | C35 candle | |
|---|---|---|
| Form | 45 mm sphere | Tapered flame |
| Reads as | ⭐ A small globe | A candle |
| Wattage | 4.2 W | 4.2 W — the same |
⚠ 7 of 7 Domus filament listings titled “Dim” record no dimmable field. ⭐ It is dimmable; ⚠ trailing-edge, and ⭐ several lamps dim far more smoothly than one at 4.2 W each. ⭐ On an exposed-lamp fitting dimming matters more than usual, because a bare filament at full output is the brightest thing in the room.
4.2 W clear LED filament fancy round. G45 shape, 45 mm. B22 bayonet. 2700 K or 6500 K. Dimmable. 240 V. ⭐ G45 is a small sphere and C35 is a tapered candle — same wattage, same family, different fittings. ⛔ No lumen figure, CRI, lifespan, warranty or datasheet; the LF-G45 sibling records 470 lm against the LF-C35's 500 lm, so the round shape gives about 6% less. ⚠ Clear shows the filament and glares — use frosted at eye level. ⭐ This is a modern filament lamp; the "retro vintage" LRF range gives roughly a quarter the light per watt.

Shape, and nothing technical: same 4.2W, same family, same base options. A G45 is a 45mm sphere that reads as a small round bulb, which is what you want in an exposed pendant, a cage fitting, a row of bare lamps over a bench or mirror, or a modern multi-light. A C35 is a tapered flame shape and belongs in chandeliers, candelabra and traditional wall brackets. One practical difference: a 45mm sphere is wider than a candle lamp, so in a tight shade or a close-spaced multi-arm fitting, check the clearance.
Slightly — about 6%, and it is worth saying because the family publishes nothing and a buyer comparing two shapes at the same wattage would reasonably assume they are identical. This listing records no lumen figure, nor do 17 of its 18 relatives. But the siblings with datasheets differ: the LF-G45 records 470 lumens at 4.2W and the LF-C35 candle records 500 at the same wattage. That is a sibling reading rather than this SKU's specification, and the difference is small enough not to decide anything.
Clear where you look AT the lamp, frosted where you look THROUGH it. On a G45 the visible filament is the whole design — a small glass sphere with a glowing element is a deliberately bare, industrial-modern look — so on an exposed-lamp fitting clear is almost always right, because the lamp is the fitting. But a bare filament is a tiny, very bright source and it glares: at eye level or in a fitting you look up into, use the frosted version.
No. Domus sells two filament families that perform very differently: this LF type runs around 110 to 120 lumens per watt on its siblings' figures, while the "retro vintage" LRF range runs 28 to 52 — roughly a quarter the light per watt. Nothing in the catalogue draws that distinction. This is the modern kind: filament looks with real output. If you want the antique glow, ask us for the LRF range and expect to use more of them.
2700K for anything domestic. 6500K on a clear filament lamp is close to a contradiction — an amber-looking element producing cold daylight-white light — and on an exposed-lamp fitting it is the most visible version of that mismatch, because there is no shade to soften it. 6500K has uses in a workshop cage light or a commercial position where the look is secondary, but not where the lamp is meant to be decorative.
Yes, though the claim lives only in the title — this listing records no dimmable field, as with all seven Domus filament listings titled "Dim". Use a trailing-edge dimmer, and note that several lamps dim far more smoothly than one at 4.2W each. Dimming matters more than usual on an exposed-lamp fitting, because a bare filament at full output is the brightest thing in the room; being able to take it down is often what makes the fitting liveable.
If the holder is B22 bayonet, yes — B22 has two pins and pushes in with a quarter turn, where E27 screws. There is an E27 version of the clear G45 if your fitting takes that instead. The other thing to check is width: a G45 is 45mm across, wider than a candle lamp, so in a tight shade or a close-spaced multi-arm fitting measure the clearance before ordering a set.

| ⭐ G45 vs C35 | Same wattage and family — ⭐ a sphere for exposed and modern fittings, a candle for chandeliers |
| ⚠ Width | 45mm — wider than a candle lamp. Check clearance in a tight shade |
| ⛔ Lumen output | NOT RECORDED — ⭐ the LF-G45 sibling records 470lm against the LF-C35's 500lm (≈6% less) |
| ⭐ Family efficacy | LF filament ≈110–120 lm/W here — ⚠ the "retro vintage" LRF range runs 28–52 |
