• ⭐ This is the modern kind: filament looks with real output. ⚠ A frosted retro lamp would be the dimmest combination available — decorative glow, further softened.
• ⭐ If you want the antique effect, ask us for the LRF range and expect to use more of them.

⚠ 2700 K or 6500 K

• ⭐ 2700 K — warm and slightly amber, ⭐ which is what a candle lamp is for and what every domestic fitting wants.
• ⚠ 6500 K is a cold blue-white. ⭐ On a frosted lamp it reads less obviously wrong than on a clear one, because you are not looking at an amber-looking filament producing daylight-white light — ⚠ but it is still cold light in a decorative fitting.
• ⭐ It suits a commercial or task position where the fitting shape is incidental.
• ⭐ We would specify 2700 K for anything domestic.
