• ⭐ And this is the only cast post that records a height at all — the 195 cm and 157 cm posts record nothing but a warranty, so their heights live only in their titles. ⭐ So this is the one listing where the two sources can be compared, and they disagree.
• ⚠ We cannot tell which is right, and both readings are plausible: 870 mm could be the column above ground with 950 mm the overall casting including a buried spigot, or one figure could simply be wrong.
• ⭐ It matters because a post is set in concrete. Ask us for the finished above-ground height before your concreter is on site — it is a short question and it cannot be corrected afterwards.

• ⭐ The base spread also does structural work — a wide foot in concrete resists the leverage a lantern puts on a post better than a narrow one.
