The Domus GT-696 Vienna Large is an exterior post top light — 540 mm high, 164 mm wide, 295 mm deep, IP23, taking one B22 lamp, in aluminium. Five powder-coated colours.

⛔ "Large" here means taller, not wider

• ⛔ The two record the same width. ⭐ So on a post top, “Large” buys 50 mm of height and nothing else — where on the Vienna wall lights Large added 50 mm of width as well.
• ⭐ Which is useful in two ways. ⭐ It will fit the same column, and it will look only slightly larger — so if you are choosing between them on appearance, the difference is smaller than the name suggests.
• ⚠ The 50 mm still counts on a tall assembly. On the 195 cm cast post this lantern gives about 2.49 m to the top.

• ✅ This one records 295 mm deep. ⛔ The standard GT-689 records no depth at all.
• ⭐ Since the two share a width, 295 mm is a sound guide for the standard version too — ⚠ an inference, not a specification, and we would rather say so.
• ⭐ Projection matters on a post top because it is what clears a fence, a wall or an overhanging branch beside the column.

⛔ The spigot size is still not recorded — but adaptors exist

• ⛔ No spigot size or column diameter appears on this listing or the standard one. ⚠ On a post top that is the compatibility question — everything else is aesthetics; this decides whether it goes on at all.
• ⭐ Three adaptors are made: GTA-140 for 43 mm, GTA-141 for 50 mm and GTA-142 for 60 mm columns.
• ⛔ Nothing in the catalogue connects them to the lanterns. ⭐ So the parts to solve this exist, and neither side tells you.
• ⭐ Measure the OUTSIDE diameter of your column and tell us, along with the lantern you want. ⭐ We will confirm the assembly with Domus before anything is made — on a made-to-order part, that is worth doing first.

⛔ B22 bayonet, and IP23

• ⛔ One B22 lamp, as most of the Vienna range is. ⚠ The Monaco and Siena ranges are E27 — globes do not transfer.
• ✅ 8–10 W B22 LED, warm at 2700–3000 K, enclosed and damp rated. ⛔ No maximum wattage recorded.
• ⛔ IP23: ⭐ the same water resistance as IP43, ⚠ sealed only against objects over 12.5 mm. ✅ On top of a column it sits well above the planting, which helps.

• On an existing or heritage column, ⭐ once the spigot is confirmed.
• Replacing a failed lantern on a sound post.
• ⚠ Not ordered blind — ⭐ tell us the column's outside diameter first.
• ⚠ Not under heavy leaf drop without expecting to clean it.
