| GT-671 standard | GT-691 Large (this one) | |
|---|---|---|
| Height | 510 mm | 600 mm — ✅ +90 mm |
| Width | 260 mm | 310 mm — ✅ +50 mm |
| Projection | ⛔ not recorded | ✅ 300 mm |
Large upward wall light. 600 mm high, 310 mm wide, 300 mm projection. IP23. 220–240 V AC. One B22 lamp — not included. Aluminium. Beige, Black, Burgundy, Green or White. ⚠ Warranty 1 year. ⛔ Made to order — allow up to 10 business days. ✅ "Large" is a real step: +90 mm tall and +50 mm wide over the standard GT-671, and it records a projection where that one does not. ⛔ It takes B22 where the standard version records E27 — the two do not interchange. ⛔ IP23 on an upward-facing fitting: the same water resistance as IP43, but debris can enter. ⛔ No maximum lamp wattage or fixing detail recorded.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.
A real, recorded step in both directions: 600mm tall and 310mm wide against the standard GT-671's 510 × 260mm — so +90mm and +50mm. That is worth confirming rather than assuming, because size words elsewhere in this catalogue have proved unreliable; four pairs of Siena posts are named differently and record identical dimensions. Here the word means something. This listing also records its 300mm projection, where the standard version records none at all.
No — and this is worth checking before you buy globes. This Large fitting takes a B22 bayonet lamp; the standard GT-671 upward wall light records E27. So within one range and one orientation, the two sizes take different lamps, and B22 and E27 do not interchange. 22 of the 25 Vienna listings are B22, so this one follows the range and the GT-671 is the exception — whether that listing is genuinely different or simply recorded wrongly we cannot tell. If you are mixing sizes on one elevation, tell us and we will confirm both with Domus.
It is the thing to think about. IP23 and IP43 carry the same water rating, both spray-rated, so this is not less waterproof than the Monaco or Siena ranges. The difference is solid ingress — over 12.5mm rather than over 1mm — so insects, seed and fine debris can enter. An upward-facing lantern is effectively an open cup, and a larger one collects more. Expect to clean it, and avoid positions under heavy leaf drop; for a downward fitting the GT-672 sheds what lands on it.
300mm, and it is worth noting this listing records that where the standard GT-671 does not. Beside a doorway or in a passage the projection is what decides whether a wall light catches anyone, so having the figure is genuinely useful. If it is going somewhere tight, tell us and we will check the clearance with you before your ten-day lead time starts.
On a broad elevation, a double-fronted facade, or any wall where a 260mm fitting would look under-scaled. The extra 50mm of width also spreads the upward wash a little wider, so it lifts a bigger area of wall. On a narrow elevation or beside a single door, the standard size is better proportioned — and it takes an E27 lamp, which is more widely stocked.
An 8–10W B22 LED, warm at 2700–3000K, rated for enclosed and damp use. No maximum wattage is recorded in any source, so ask us before going above about 15W. Warm compact B22 LEDs are less widely stocked than E27, so ask us to supply them with the fitting rather than hunt for them after a ten-day lead time.
Many entrances do — upward along the elevation to lift the facade, downward over the door so you can see the step. This fitting will not light the ground; that is what the GT-672 is for. Just remember the two may take different globes, so tell us what you are ordering and we will confirm the bases before you buy lamps.
