The Domus GT-682 Vienna is a triple-head tall post light — 2,440 mm tall, 660 mm wide, IP23, taking three B22 lamps, in aluminium. Five powder-coated colours.

⭐ A third lantern, in exactly the same envelope

• ⭐ The practical answer is the useful one: it fits wherever the twin fits. Same footing, same footprint, same clearance from a fence or a gate — and half again the light.
• ⭐ The Monaco range does the same thing: its single, twin and triple tall posts all record 2,350 mm and the twin and triple share a width.
• ⚠ How three lanterns occupy a two-lantern envelope is recorded nowhere. ⭐ We looked for a mechanism in the figures and there is not one — a third head adds neither height nor width in any Domus range we have measured.
• ⭐ So we are not going to offer an explanation. Ask us and we will get the layout from Domus — on a gateway with a fixed opening the answer decides the purchase.

⭐ Three lanterns is the most light in the range

• ⭐ Roughly triple a single-head post and half again the twin, spread across three points rather than concentrated.
• ⭐ Use modest lamps. Three 8 W B22 LEDs give more total light than one 20 W and put it in three places — which is the reason to buy a triple. ⚠ Running cost is three lamps, on a fitting that typically runs dusk to dawn.
• ⭐ At 2,440 mm all three clear eye level comfortably, so they read as light sources rather than objects and lamp choice is less constrained than on the low posts.
• ⭐ It is the fitting for a grand entrance on a frontage that wants coverage without a heavy post.

⛔ It records no depth

⛔ The twin-head tall post records 650 mm; this one records none. ⭐ Given that the two share a height and a width, 650 mm is the best guide we have — ⚠ but it is an inference, not a specification. Ask us if the projection matters against a fence or a gate swing.

⛔ B22 bayonet, and IP23

• ⛔ Three B22 lamps, not E27. ⚠ Monaco and Siena are E27 — globes do not transfer, and on a triple you would be buying three of the wrong kind. ⭐ Ask us to supply lamps.
• ✅ 8–10 W B22 LED in each, warm at 2700–3000 K, enclosed and damp rated. ⛔ No maximum wattage recorded.
• ⛔ IP23: ⭐ the same water resistance as IP43, ⚠ sealed only against objects over 12.5 mm. ✅ At this height the lanterns sit clear of the planting.
• ⛔ No footing depth, base plate, fixing pattern or wind rating. ⚠ Three lanterns at 2.44 m is the largest total sail area in the Vienna range.

Where it works

• Grand entrances and gateways, where presence matters as much as light.
• Long approaches, spreading light across three points.
• Restrained frontages that want coverage without a heavy post.
• ⚠ Not where the head layout is critical until we have confirmed it.
• ⚠ Not a wash-down or coastal front-line position.
