The Domus GT-671 Vienna is a straight-arm upward wall light — 510 mm high, 260 mm wide, IP23, taking one E27 lamp, in aluminium. Five powder-coated colours.

Is IP23 waterproof enough for outdoors?

For rain, yes — and this is worth getting right rather than guessing from the number. IP23 and IP43 carry the same second digit, 3, meaning protection against spraying water, so the two are equally water-resistant. The difference is the first digit: solid ingress. IP43 keeps out anything over 1mm; IP23 only anything over 12.5mm. So the Vienna is not less waterproof than the Monaco or Siena ranges — it is less sealed against insects, leaf litter, seed and fine debris.

Does the upward orientation make the IP23 rating a problem?

It is the thing to think about. An upward-facing lantern is effectively an open cup, and IP23 means fine debris can enter — so the orientation and the rating work against each other. Practically: expect to clean it, and under a tree, near gums or anywhere with heavy leaf drop, budget for doing so regularly. If that position is unavoidable, the downward-facing GT-672 faces the same way as gravity and will stay cleaner.

Is this fitting lower-rated than the rest of the range?

No — it is the range. 20 of the 25 Vienna listings record IP23, where all 14 Monaco listings and all 24 Siena listings record IP43. Warranties

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.

Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.

Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.

Damaged or Missing Items

Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.

If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.

Returns

Change of Mind Returns

  • Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
  • The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Cancellations

Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
